早前我校學生參與了香港電台普通話台《普出校園精彩》節目錄音，化身「小主持」分享生活小故事。這次難得的實踐機會，不僅大大提升了同學的普通話表達能力與自信心，更讓他們親身領略廣播的魅力，擴闊眼界！

Our students recently stepped into the studio of RTHK Putonghua Channel for the program ”Broadcasting Excellence“. Becoming ”little hosts“, they shared their daily stories on air. This precious hands-on experience not only boosted their communication skills and confidence in Putonghua but also broadened their horizons through the magic of broadcasting!
At SFACS, we nurture holistic growth and language proficiency, empowering our students to shine on every stage.

【學效聖母芳表 💖 培養愛德孩子的「同理心」】
五月是聖母月。在 5 月 5 日，我校舉行了莊嚴而溫馨的聖母月祈禱禮。我們非常有幸邀請到麥神父蒞臨，為全校師生主持禮儀。
在祈禱禮中，麥神父透過生動的講道，帶領同學們深入認識聖母媽媽的慈愛與芳表。聖母媽媽總是默默體察身邊人的需要，並適時伸出援手。神父勉勵愛德的每一位同學，在日常生活中也要學會**「看見別人的需要」——不論是看見同學的一點失落、父母的一絲疲憊，還是社會上弱勢群體的需要，都要主動去關心、去體諒，做個真正有同理心**的孩子。
聖方濟愛德小學植根深水埗石硤尾逾 60 年，我們始終秉承天主教核心價值，重視學生的靈育與品德培訓。我們深信，學術成就固然重要，但一顆懂得「愛主愛人」的心，更能陪伴孩子走過精彩而有意義的人生。

On May 5, our school held a special Month of Mary prayer service. We were blessed to have Father Mak lead the liturgy. Through his gentle homily, the children learned about Mary’s loving example and discovered how important it is to care for people around us. Father encouraged them to notice the needs of others and to grow into kind, thoughtful, and empathetic children. The prayer time was simple yet meaningful, helping the students feel close to Mary and inspired to live with love and compassion each day—lessons they can treasure and share warmly with their families.

【生命教育在愛德：細聽聖母的故事 💙】
五月是溫暖的聖母月。早前，我們為一至三年級的小朋友們舉辦了一場生動的「瓜達盧佩聖母」宗教講座。
與其說是講座，不如說是一場關於「愛」與「和平」的分享會。透過生動的故事，同學們認識了聖母顯現的事蹟，更深刻明白到：每一個生命都是天主賜予的寶貴禮物。 🎁
最讓老師感動的，是同學們在角色扮演環節中的投入。他們穿上小服裝，學習如何愛護他人、維護世界和平。我們相信，這種「愛主愛人」的種子，從小在孩子心中種下，將會伴隨他們一生茁壯成長。🌱
讓孩子在愛中學習，在信仰中成長，這就是愛德 60 多年來堅持的初心。

On May 4, our Primary 1–3 students joined a joyful Month of Mary talk. They listened to the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe's apparition, learning that every life is precious and that we can all help bring peace to the world. The talk was presented in a lively way that made the children smile and think. They also took part in role-play activities, acting out the message of loving and protecting life. It was a happy and meaningful time where faith was made easy to understand, and the children left with lessons they could warmly share at home.

這兩天我們跨越香港，來到佛山姊妹學校進行了一場深度文化之旅。

我們還參觀了外型如旗艦般的深圳科學技術館！館內的創新科技項目讓同學們大開眼界，跟隨講解員的步伐，近距離感受科學的魅力。這也與我們學校一直推動的 Maker Space 創客精神 不謀而合！
透過這次交流，同學不僅拓寬了視野，更學會了欣賞中華文化的多元與創新。看著孩子們眼中閃爍的好奇心，就是教育最美的樣子。❤️

【Home-School Partnership: Navigating the Learning Journey Together 🧭】
How can we ignite a child’s motivation to learn? This is a question close to every parent‘s heart. On April 9, SFACS hosted an insightful seminar titled ”A Learning GPS for Children: Becoming an Effective Navigator,“ featuring our Educational Psychologist.
The energy in the room was incredible! Our Principal and Psychologist engaged in meaningful dialogues with parents, sharing practical strategies to better understand and support children’s unique learning needs. We believe that with the right ”navigation“ tools, every child can learn with greater confidence and efficiency.

如何激發孩子的學習動機？相信是不少家長最關心的課題。上週四（4月9日），愛德邀請了教育心理學家蒞臨本校，舉辦**「孩子的學習GPS：成為高效導航員」**家長講座。
當天現場氣氛非常熱烈！校長、教育心理學家與家長們深度交流，共同探討如何透過正向策略，精準掌握子女的學習需求。看到家長們踴躍發問、積極紀錄，我們深信：當家長掌握了正確的「導航」方法，孩子在學習路上定能走得更有信心、更有動力！✨

Building Global Citizens in the Heart of Singapore 🇸🇬

At St. Francis of Assisi’s Caritas School, we believe the world is our classroom. Our recent Singapore Study Tour was designed to nurture “Love for God, Concern for Others, and Care for Society” on an international scale.
Highlights of the journey:
📍 Environmental Stewardship: At Marina Barrage and Gardens by the Bay, students saw how design and technology can protect our planet’s biodiversity.
📍 Cultural Exchange: Through our guided school visit, students experienced different teaching styles and built bridges of friendship.
📍 Practical Learning: From history at Merlion Park to baking Pandan cakes in English, every moment was a chance to practice communication # and collaboration.
We are so proud of how our students represented SFACS—showing empathy, respect, and a true passion for learning.

On 3rd March, the school’s PTA invited a social worker to run an aromatherapy candle-making workshop. Parents participated enthusiastically. It was relaxing as they handcrafted unique candles while learning child-rearing techniques.

3月3日，學校家教會邀請社工舉辦香薰蠟燭製作工作坊，家長在放鬆的氛圍中親手製作獨特香薰蠟燭，並同時學習子女教養方法，參與熱情投入。
