中國從古到今經歷了不少變化才達到我們現在的生活，而我們現今的生活與古代相差甚遠，所以為了讓同學們了解更多古人的生活，老師與K.3的同學一起參觀了香港故宮文化博物館👏🏻，透過觀察古人所用的物品，並了解不同物品的用途，從而了解古人的生活👍🏻。

China has gone through many changes from ancient times to the present to reach our current life, and our current life is far from that in ancient times. Therefore, in order to let the students know more about the lives of the ancients, our teacher and K.3 students visited at the Hong Kong Palace Museum👏🏻, we hope that through the visit, students can learn about the lives of ancient people by observing the items used by ancient people and understanding the uses of different items👍🏻.

現今孩童的物質非常豐富，家中的玩具多不勝數🧸，但古時的小朋友物資短缺，父母沒有多餘的金錢購買玩物給子女，所以古時小朋友的娛樂十分有限。不過古人運用他們的智慧，製作了簡單的雙面鼓並用細線懸掛珠子在兩旁，當鼓柄左右旋轉時兩側彈丸便會隨之甩動連續敲擊鼓面發出聲響，這便是古時小朋友的一大娛樂，而為了讓同學也認識這個古時的有興玩意，本月的中華文化日主題為「親子潑浪鼓工作坊」。我們希望家長及同學透過活動能了解潑浪鼓的由來，並一起嘗試親手製作及設計潑浪鼓，從而培養同學對中國傳統藝術的興趣👍🏻。

Children today enjoy abundant material possessions and countless toys at home🧸. However, in ancient times, children faced scarcity, and parents lacked the funds to buy toys for their children, resulting in limited entertainment options. Nevertheless, the ancients used their wisdom to create simple double-sided drums, suspending beads on either side with thin threads. When the drum handle rotated left and right, the beads on either side would swing and strike the drumhead, producing sound. This was a major source of entertainment for children in ancient times. To introduce this fascinating ancient toy to students, this month's Chinese Culture Day theme is "Parent-Child Rattle Drum Workshop." We hope that through this activity, parents and students will learn about the origins of the rattle drum and try making and designing their own rattle drum, thereby cultivating students' interest in traditional Chinese arts👍🏻.

小朋友有不同的長處及短處，所以我們除了注重同學學術的發展外，亦非常注重同學的多元智能發展，我們希望讓同學接觸更多音樂🎵、體育🏃🏻、藝術🖍️等領域，讓同學在各方面得以平衡發展，而且從中發掘小朋友學術外的潛能、定位及自信心，並透過擅長智能彌補弱項，從而用同學的長處帶動他們的學習👍🏻。

剛好本週K.2的學習主題為「小小藝術家🧑🏻‍🎨」，我們希望同學經過本週的學習主題能用不同的技巧及與眾不同的創意來創作屬於自己的畫作🏞️，所以老師與同學們一起參觀了香港藝術館👏🏻，我們希望同學透過導賞員的講解能了解更多不同的藝術作品，並學習不同的藝術知識及技巧，激發同學更多的靈感來進行創作，從而成為一位真正的小小藝術家🧑🏻‍🎨。

Children have different strengths and weaknesses, so in addition to focusing on the academic development of students, we also pay great attention to the development of students' multiple intelligences. We hope to let students get in touch with more areas such as music🎵, sports🏃🏻, and art 🖍️ so that they can develop in a balanced way in all aspects. We also hope to discover the children's potential, positioning, and self-confidence outside of academics and make up for their weaknesses through their strengths in area so as to use their strengths to drive their learning 👍🏻.

It just so happens that the learning theme of K.2 this week is "Little Artist 🧑🏻‍🎨". We hope that students can use different techniques and unique creativity to create their own paintings after learning this week's theme 🏞️. So our teacher and students visited the Hong Kong Museum of Art 👏🏻. We hope that students can understand more different works of art through the tour guide's explanation and learn different art knowledge and techniques so as to inspire students to create more inspiration and become real little artists 🧑🏻‍🎨.

動物是一個非常普遍的主題，很多同學也能輕鬆說出不同的動物，但同學親眼看見的動物又有多少呢？🤔所以我們為了讓同學有機會親身近距離觀察動物👀，今天我們與K.1的同學們一同參觀了香港動植物公園👏🏻。我們希望同學能認識更多不同的動物，並能觀察各類動物的不同特徵，從而培養同學對大自己的探索精神👍🏻。

Animals are a very common topic, and many students can easily name different animals. But how many of them have actually seen animals in person? 🤔 Therefore, to give students the opportunity to observe animals up close👀, we visited the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Garden with our K.1 students today👏🏻. We hope that students can learn about more different animals and observe their unique characteristics, thereby cultivating their spirit of exploration👍🏻.

運動能強身健體💪🏻，所以我們一直積極鼓勵同學多做運動，但同學們又對各種運動有多少認識呢？🤔所以為了增加同學對各種運動的了解，本月的生日會主題為「國際運動日⚽🏸🏏」。我們希望同學透過活動能了解不同國家的運動項目，並嘗試進行各種球類運動，從而培養同學多做運動的興趣👍🏻。

Exercise is good for our health💪🏻, so we always encourage students to exercise more. But how much do students really know about different sports? 🤔Therefore, to increase students' understanding of various sports, this month's birthday party theme is "International Sports Day⚽🏸🏏." We hope that through the activities, students can learn about sports from different countries and try various ball sports, thereby cultivating their interest in exercising more👍🏻.

本校的新生試學日已完滿結束了👏🏻，我們非常感謝家長及小朋友們的踴躍參與，讓本次的新生試學日十分熱鬧🙇🏻。本次的新生試學日的主題為「普通話繪本故事📖及圖工活動🖍️」。老師用普通話先與小朋友分享一個關於「小雞逛超市」的故事，並邀請小朋友與家長一起製作故事中小雞最喜歡的意大利粉勞作🍝，小朋友都十分投入活動當中，表現非常出色👏🏻，期待與各位家長及小朋友在新學年再見😊。

Our school’s Experiential Day has come to a successful conclusion👏🏻. We are very grateful to the parents and children for their active participation, which made our Experiential Day very lively🙇🏻 . The theme of this Experiential Day is " Mandarin Story📖 and Artwork Activity🖍️ ". Teacher share a story about a "Little Chicks Go Grocery Shopping" in Mandarin and then invited the children and parents to make a artwork about the chick's favorite food in the story, pasta 🍝. The children were very engaged in the activity and performed very well👏🏻. We look forward to seeing all the parents and children again in the new school year😊.

本校第三次的新生試學日完滿結束了🥳，我們非常感謝家長及小朋友們的踴躍參與，讓本次的新生試學日十分熱鬧🙇🏻。本次的新生試學日的主題為「邊玩邊學體能活動💪🏻」，老師們先帶領小朋友一起跟音樂做熱身運動，再帶領小朋友穿過隧道拿取健康蔬果🍎🥦喂給小雅和小浩，最後邀請家長及小朋友一起製作沙律勞作🥗，從而把健康食物的概念帶給小朋友👍🏻。而小朋友都十分投入活動當中，表現非常出色👏🏻。下次的新生試學日會在5月2日，主題將會是「普通話繪本故事及圖工活動」，期待與各位家長及小朋友再見😊。

Our school’s second Experiential Day has come to a successful conclusion🥳. We are very grateful to the parents and children for their active participation, which made our Experiential Day very lively🙇🏻. The theme of this Experiential Day is " Learning Physical Activity Through Play ". Our teachers first led the children in warm-up exercises to music, then led them through a tunnel to collect healthy fruits 🍎 and vegetables🥦 to feed Ruby and Benny. Finally, parents and children participate in a salad-making artwork activities🥗, thus introducing the concept of healthy food to the children👍🏻. All children were very engaged in the activity and performed exceptionally well👏🏻. The next Experiential Day will be on May 2nd. The theme will be " Mandarin Story and Artwork Activity". We look forward to seeing all the parents and children again😊.

K.3的同學還有三個月便月畢業升讀小一了👩🏻‍🎓👨🏻‍🎓，回想起同學們在K.1剛入學時很多也是愛哭的小朋友👶🏻，但現在他們也長大成為老師的小幫手了👍🏻。而今天我們亦為K.3的同學拍攝畢業典照片📸，看到同學們穿上畢業袍時也真的感到他們長大了不少。

Our K.3 students will graduate and enter Primary 1 in three months👩🏻‍🎓👨🏻‍🎓. Looking back, many of them were crybaby kids when they first entered K.1👶🏻 , but now they have grown up and become the teacher's little helpers 👍🏻. We took graduation photos for K.3 students today📸. When we saw them wearing graduation gowns, we felt that they had grown up a lot.

中國陶瓷歷史悠久，最早可追溯到石器時代，再經過不同年代的進步，令陶瓷由最初平平無奇的日常用品慢慢蛻變成世界知名的藝術品，而為了讓同學了解更多陶瓷那源遠流長的蛻變歷史，本月的中華文化日主題為「親子免燒陶瓷工作坊🏺」。我們希望同學透過活動能了解陶瓷的由來，並嘗試與父母一起製作有關十二生肖的陶瓷作品，從而加深同學對中華文化的興趣👍🏻。

Chinese ceramics have a long history, dating back to the Stone Age. Through advancements over different eras, ceramics have gradually transformed from ordinary everyday items into world-renowned works of art. To help students learn more about this rich history of ceramic evolution, this month's Chinese Culture Day theme is "Parent-Child Non-firing Clay Workshop🏺." We hope that through this activity, students will learn about the origins of ceramics and try making ceramic works related to the twelve zodiac animals with their parents, thereby deepening their interest in Chinese culture👍🏻.

水墨畫是中國藝術的代表，至今已有數千年的歷史，早期都是以黑白的形式來表現山水風景🏞️，後來彩色的水墨畫逐漸普及，更把水墨畫繪畫在扇子、紙傘及屏風等不同用品上，令水墨畫融入我們生活當中，所以為了讓同學了解更多水墨畫這個有數千年的歷史的中國傳統藝術，本月的生日會主題為「中式水墨畫日」。我們希望同學透過活動能了解水墨畫的由來，並嘗試合力完成一幅水墨畫，從而培養同學對中國傳統藝術的興趣👍🏻。

Ink wash painting stands as a quintessential representation of Chinese art, boasting a history spanning several millennia. Initially, landscapes were rendered predominantly in monochrome 🏞️, though colorful ink wash paintings gradually gained popularity. These works were subsequently applied to various everyday objects such as fans, paper umbrellas, and folding screens, seamlessly integrating ink wash painting into our daily lives. To deepen students' understanding of this ancient Chinese traditional art form, the theme of this birthday party was "Chinese Ink Painting Day". We hope this activity will help students understand the origins of ink painting and try to work together to complete an ink painting, thereby fostering an interest in traditional Chinese art👍🏻.
