📣 小腳板．大領袖｜可譽夏令營 滿載笑聲與成長的兩星期
📣 Little Feet, Big Leaders | Ho Yu Summer Camp – Two Weeks of Laughter and Growth
為期兩星期的「可譽夏令營」已經圓滿結束！🎉
四班全數爆滿，參與的幼兒均為升讀K2及K3的幼稚園學生，他們在可譽度過了一個充實又難忘的暑假。
這不僅是一個讓幼兒熟習小學校園的暑期活動，更是一場跨越年齡的溫暖同行。
👦🏻👧🏻 幼兒篇：小腳板踏進小學大世界
從最初有點緊張地牽着哥哥姐姐的手，到後來每天期待回校上課——
幼兒們在夏令營中：
🏫 熟習小學環境 – 走進課室、認識校園，為升學做好準備
🗣️ 增進英語知識 – 透過外籍英語老師的遊戲與情境教學，自信開口說英語
🔬 探索科學奧妙 – 透過英語科學小實驗，培養創造力與解難能力
⛹️ 學習跳繩技巧 – 提升心肺、平衡與節奏感，在競賽中激發動力
🤝 學習自理與適應 – 在哥哥姐姐的帶領下，慢慢學會排隊、收拾、表達需要
🦸🏻♂️🦸🏻♀️ 初小領袖篇：小手牽小手，成長路上一起走
本校初小的小領袖們，這個暑假身兼多職，卻樂在其中：
⭐ 他們牽着幼兒的小手，教導自理、引導適應
⭐ 他們充當外籍英語老師的小助理，協助日常教學，與老師打成一片
⭐ 他們主動照顧幼兒的需要：「老師，我帶幼兒上洗手間」、「老師，我帶幼兒去盛水」、「老師，我帶幼兒返回課室放學」
⭐ 他們更愛上與外籍老師聊天：「他的課好有趣！」
💬 成長小插曲：
小領袖們在照顧幼兒的過程中，偶爾也會遇到困難，例如苦惱地說：
「老師，幼兒不聽我的話。」
但他們沒有氣餒，反而更用心嘗試，慢慢學會了耐心、溝通與解決問題的方法。
有一次，小領袖開心地分享：
「老師，幼兒好像跳不到，我於是跳起來，他看見了我跳，他又跳，他成功了，好開心！」
——這就是榜樣的力量，也是小領袖們最真摯的喜悅。
另一位小領袖也感嘆：
「老師，原來準備教材是很費時，剛才我幫助老師剪了很多圓形予幼兒做科學實驗啊！」
——在協助的過程中，他們學會了同理與珍惜，明白每一堂課背後都充滿用心。

家長、老師及教練都對這班小領袖的表現表示 欣賞與讚賞！
他們的責任感、愛心與成長，是這個夏天最珍貴的禮物。
家長們也感動地分享：
「你們的小領袖很乖，這個安排很貼心，讓孩子能跟哥哥姐姐上課室。」
衷心感謝每位家長的信任與支持，讓幼兒參加這次夏令營，
也讓我們本校的孩子有機會 增加自信、發展領袖才能，在照顧別人的過程中，發現更好的自己。

Our two-week "Ho Yu Summer Camp" has come to a wonderful close! 🎉
With all 4 classes fully enrolled, our young participants – preschool students moving up to K2 and K3 – joined us for an unforgettable summer experience.
This was not just a summer activity to help young children familiarise themselves with our primary school campus – it was a heartwarming journey of cross-age connection and shared growth.
👦🏻👧🏻 For Our Youngest Participants: Little Feet Stepping into the Big School World
From feeling a little nervous as they first held their big brothers' and sisters' hands, to eagerly looking forward to coming to school every day –
Our preschool students at the Summer Camp:
🏫 Familiarised themselves with the primary school environment – exploring classrooms and getting to know the campus, readying themselves for their upcoming school journey
🗣️ Enhanced their English skills – through games and real-life scenarios led by native-speaking foreign teachers, they gained confidence in speaking English
🔬 Explored the wonders of Science – through hands-on science experiments conducted in English, nurturing creativity and problem-solving abilities
⛹️ Learned jumping rope techniques – improving cardiovascular fitness, balance and rhythm, with fun competitions to boost motivation
🤝 Developed self-care and adaptability – guided by their big brothers and sisters, they learned to line up, tidy up, and express their needs
🦸🏻♂️🦸🏻♀️ For Our Junior Primary Leaders: Little Hands Holding Little Hands, Growing Together Along the Way
Our junior primary students stepped up as young leaders this summer, taking on multiple roles – and loving every moment of it:
⭐ They held the little ones' hands, teaching them self-care and helping them adjust to the new environment
⭐ They served as teaching assistants to our native-speaking English teachers, supporting daily lessons and bonding with the teachers
⭐ They proactively took care of the children's needs: "Teacher, I'll take the child to the washroom." / "Teacher, I'll get some water for the child." / "Teacher, I'll walk the child back to the classroom for dismissal."
⭐ They even grew to love chatting with the foreign teachers: "His lessons are so fun!"
💬 Heartwarming Moments of Growth:
Sometimes, our young leaders faced challenges. One of them once said with a hint of frustration:
"Teacher, the child doesn't listen to me."
But instead of giving up, they tried harder – and gradually learned the value of patience, communication, and creative problem-solving.
Another young leader excitedly shared:
"Teacher, the child couldn't seem to jump, so I started jumping. He watched me, and then he jumped too – and he made it! I was so happy!"
– This is the power of leading by example, and the pure joy of seeing someone succeed because of you.
Another leader reflected:
"Teacher, preparing teaching materials takes a lot of time! I just helped the teacher cut out lots of circles for the children's science experiment!"
– Through these small acts of help, they learnt empathy and appreciation for the hard work behind every lesson.
👏 Gratitude and Appreciation
Parents, teachers and coaches all expressed their admiration and praise for this group of young leaders!
Their sense of responsibility, kindness, and personal growth have been the most precious gifts of this summer.
Parents also shared their heartfelt appreciation:
"Your young leaders are so well-behaved. This arrangement is so thoughtful – it's wonderful that our children can go to the classroom with their big brothers and sisters."
We sincerely thank every parent for your trust and support in enrolling your children in this Summer Camp.
This experience has also given our own students the opportunity to build confidence and develop leadership skills – discovering their best selves through caring for others.
