I have begun to 'put things together' with regard to confirming students for my tutoring services for the next academic year.
I already have 13 students signed up for next year (Year 4 to Year 9).
I limit the number of students I tutor to 15, so there are ONLY 2 sessions available.

Hi everyone,
I have attached a sample video of my explanation to Year 5 students, on how to subtract mixed numbers.
If you watch the video (or just dip into it, as it's more than 5 mins.), you may notice that my approach is very much based on Conceptual Understanding.
As you will notice if you check details on this page, my philosophy on how children become confident in Maths, is very much based around their understanding of mathematical concepts, rather than procedure alone.
