【📢 港大眼科學系 x 奧比斯：正視兒童及成人近視危機 免費眼睛檢查現正接受登記】

近視絕對不只是「換一副度數深的眼鏡」就能解決。奧比斯與港大眼科學系今日公佈合作研究，揭示近視問題已成為香港不容忽視的公共衛生危機。

📊 研究重點一覽：
🔹 兒童數據：在 501 名 5 至 12 歲兒童中，近四成（39.7%）患有近視，問題早在小學階段已響起警號。
🔹 成人數據：在 4,217 名 50 歲或以上人士中，44.5% 患有近視，當中有 6.7% 屬於深近視。
🔹 嚴重後果：深近視人士出現視力受損或失明的風險比非近視者高出超過四倍（6.3% 對 1.5%），而青光眼患病率更增加近一倍（13.1% 對 6.8%）。
🔹 重點警告：眼鏡只能矯正模糊視力，無法逆轉因深近視而拉長的眼球結構，更不能消除永久失明的風險。

💡 我們正積極行動
為應對這項挑戰，港大眼科學系與奧比斯推出以下免費服務：

1,000 個兒童眼睛檢查名額（現正接受報名）：為 5 至 12 歲兒童提供全面眼科檢查及近視控制專業意見。

1,000 個成人眼睛篩查名額（即將推出）：為 50 歲或以上已知患有近視的成人提供詳細篩查。

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 給家長的溫馨提示：
• 安排年度專業眼睛檢查，切勿等到「睇唔清」才求醫
• 若發現近視，主動諮詢具醫學實證的控制方案
• 鼓勵子女增加戶外活動時間，培養良好護眼習慣

【📢 HKU Department of Ophthalmology x Orbis: Tackling the Myopia Crisis – Free Eye Screenings Now Open for Registration】

Myopia is NOT just about getting stronger glasses. Today, the Department of Ophthalmology, HKU and Orbis announced a joint initiative to address Hong Kong’s growing myopia crisis, revealing critical data on its lifelong impact.

📊 Key Findings at a Glance:
🔹 Children: 39.7% of 501 children aged 5–12 screened had myopia – a warning sign starting as early as primary school.
🔹 Adults: 44.5% of 4,217 participants aged 50+ had myopia, with 6.7% suffering from high myopia.
🔹 Severe Risks: Visual impairment or blindness affected 6.3% of adults with high myopia vs. 1.5% without (over 4x higher). Glaucoma prevalence was nearly double (13.1% vs. 6.8%).
🔹 Critical Warning: Glasses correct blurred vision but cannot reverse the elongated eyeball structure caused by high myopia, nor eliminate the risk of permanent blindness.

1,000 Free Adult Screenings (Coming Soon): Detailed screenings for adults aged 50+ with known myopia.

【重症解密】港大醫學院教授現身說法 介紹重症診治過程及治療方法
