【第九屆 傑出校友獎 得獎人 — 鄭婉華院士】

鄭婉華院士於1998年在浸大取得物理哲學博士學位，現為中國科學院半導體研究所研究員及固態光電信息技術重點實驗室主任。她主要從事人工微結構材料和半導體激光研究，帶領其科研團隊在國內最早開展光子晶體半導體激光器研究，發展高性能光子晶體激光芯片的關鍵原理和技術體系。她的成就備受肯定，曾獲多項國家級及省部級科學獎項，包括中國光學工程學會科技創新獎一等獎、中國專利金獎和部委科學技術進步獎一等獎。她在2021年獲選為中國科學院院士，並當選為第14屆全國人民代表大會代表。鄭院士亦為博士生導師，為內地光電子技術領域培養優秀的技術人才。心繫母校的鄭院士，現擔任浸大理學院物理系榮譽教授。

浸大公布第九屆「傑出校友獎」得獎名單，4位得獎人包括香港滑浪風帆代表隊總教練陳敬然先生（體育及康樂管理學）、演員及冠作坊創辦人暨總監羅冠蘭女士（歷史學）、香港國際社會服務社行政總裁邱浩波先生（社會工作學）及中國科學院半導體研究所研究員鄭婉華院士（物理學）。傑出校友獎旨在表揚優秀校友在商業、專業或學術方面的卓越成就，以及對浸大和社會的服務和貢獻，同時鼓勵學生向得獎人的經驗和成就學習。本屆傑出校友獎的頒獎典禮將於6月下旬舉行。

Dr Ma Guancong, Associate Professor of the Department of Physics, was bestowed with the prestigious Chen Ning Yang Award 2022 for his pioneering investigations into novel Hermitian and non-Hermitian topological phases in wave systems. [Science lecture series features prominent international scholars]
To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the Faculty of Science hosted a Distinguished Lecture Series featuring 28 lectures between February 2021 and June 2022. The lectures were given by prominent international scholars, and they facilitated intellectual exchange between the HKBU community and the leading scholars in a diverse range of scientific disciplines. The lectures covered a wide range of scientific topics related to environmental science, sustainable development, energy, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
