展覽回顧 Exhibition highlight｜飄浮板塊 Floating Platforms
《飄浮板塊》藝術展覽由浸會大學栽種和平計劃發起，聚集六位藝術家及旺角和元朗兩間中學的學生，當中涉及很多不同的單位，經過幾個月的相處和磨合，猶如不同板塊相遇的過程，探索人與人之間界線的張力。
在疫情籠罩著每個香港人日常生活之間，學生走出校園門口，來到區內他們感興趣的地方。他們帶著藝術品走入社區，漸漸與居民的日常生活交織；同時帶著畫筆和攝影鏡頭，觀察區內城市風景和社會民生，尋覓自身在社區裡的存在。
更有藝術家個別創作以回應今次主題，藝術家呼應自身身分認同議題，鑒察並重新解構社群的本質。
《飄浮板塊 Floating Platforms》藝術展覽於五月完滿結束，感謝觀眾們來臨觀賞我們半年的成果。以藝術作為媒介，我們試驗各種不同的表達方法，讓不同的持份者在當中參與及碰撞。現在讓我們一起回顧展覽的精彩時刻，了解藝術展覽背後理念以及創作過程的珍貴片段。歡迎想重温展覽内容和之前未參觀過的觀眾觀看影片，了解更多策展人Sally在展覽策劃上的設計，以及一眾藝術家和兩間中學的同學如何合作，創作出精彩而具有意義的作品。
The “Floating Platforms” art exhibition is initiated by the “Cultivating Peace” Project of HKBU, gathering six artists and two secondary school students from Mong Kok and Yuen Long. Since various parties were included in the exhibition, through mouths of getting along and building a team, which is like the encounter of plates, exploring the tension between various interpersonal relationships.
During the period when the everyday lives of Hong Kongers are shrouded in the epidemic, the students can walk out of the campus, and go to the places they are interested in inside the community. They brought the artwork to the community, gradually intertwined with the daily life of residents; at the same time, with drawing pencil and camera lens, they try to observe the landscape of the city and social livelihoods, exploring their existence in the community.
In response to the theme of the exhibition, there will be individual works of art by artists who reflect on the issues of their own identity, identifying and reconstructing the nature of the community.
The "Floating Platforms" art exhibition successfully ended in May. Thank you all for visiting and witnessing the creative process and outcomes of our artists and students! Taking art as a medium, we tried to experiment with different ways of expression, giving a chance for different stakeholders to cooperate and collide.
