Franz Joseph Haydn is an Austrian composer who was one of the most important figures in the development of the Classical style in music during the 18th century. He helped establish the nascent forms and styles for the string quartet and the symphony.

Even though he was not musically educated, at the tender age of 5, Haydn was able to sing and play many of the popular songs of his time with his father. Hence allowing his family and friends to discover his unusual musical talent.
