[Home Learning Activities at Creativity Park Vale Kindergarten]

The learning never stops at Creativity Park Vale Kindergarten. Apart from the online sessions every day, the children are also encouraged to participate in non-screen activities.

This week, the K2 class started the theme “Stories & Imagination” and their first stop is the story “Three Little Pigs”. Just like the three little pigs, the children were tasked to build their own house, by using playdough - an open-ended sensory resource that enhances their manipulative skills. Some of them designed the pig’s face using their imagination and creativity as well.

It's about the process, not the product - but look at all these wonderful creations - well done, K2 friends!

[SHARING THE CHINESE NEW YEAR BLESSING WITH FAMILY]

This week, the K1 & K2 children engaged in making and designing special Chinese New Year letters for their parents. To make it even more special, the children put the letters in envelopes and posted them in the mailbox. The parents will be receiving these letters just in time for Chinese New Year.

This activity not only promotes creativity and literacy skills, it also gives the children practical, real-life experiences that will help them relate and understand how to celebrate this important tradition.

We are pleased to explore the world through our strong partnership with Australian children to learn about the culture and life 'down-under!' Special thanks to the teachers from Creativity Park Vale and ILO Education Centre for taking the time and effort to provide such a meaningful platform of understanding and friendships across the oceans!
