Sometimes life is loud, full of deadlines, worries, and endless to-do lists. In the middle of it all, we try so hard to hear God, almost pressing our hearts to catch His voice. But the truth is, God doesn’t always shout over the noise. He waits for the quiet moments, the pauses in our day, when we can simply be still and open to Him.

Dear God,

I confess that I sometimes look for You at church services and quiet moments while walking right past You in the faces of people who are hurting. Forgive me for the times I've been too tired, too busy, or too unsure to stop and see them—to see You.

Open my eyes today. You know I can't help everyone, but show me the one person I can love. Give me a willing heart and open hands.

Let my compassion, no matter how small, be my worship.
