This Lunar New Year, children at Mulberry House will explore tradition, creativity, language, and play through a thoughtfully designed holiday camp experience.

Across our Southside, Central, and Tai Po campuses, mornings bring shared learning through crafts, stories, music and movement in English and/or Mandarin immersion. Mulberry House is building something truly special.

This week, our Forest School team visited The Harbour School’s Marine Science Center to lay the groundwork for a brand new Forest to Sea experiential learning pathway. Soon, our children will explore Hong Kong’s natural world in a deeper and more connected way, from observing forest habitats to discovering the incredible marine life found along our shores.

Guided by educators who share our passion for hands-on, inquiry-driven learning, this collaboration opens the door to richer curiosity, greater confidence, and meaningful environmental awareness.

Our PN Class explored staple foods through a joyful mix of sensory play, role play, and festive creativity.

During the Rainbow Macaroni activity, children learned to spot colours, compare raw and cooked pasta, and decide whether each piece belonged in the kitchen for more “cooking” or on the dining table for the little animals. They also made their own playdough using flour, oil, salt, and water, discovering how ingredients transform into dough through pressing and kneading.

To welcome the Christmas season, the class finished by creating beautiful, colourful lantern decorations to brighten our classroom. A lovely blend of fine-motor work, language development, and festive fun.

Our 2025 Christmas Camp runs over two flexible weeks:
Week 1: 22–24 December & 27 December
Week 2: 29–31 December & 2–3 January

Morning sessions build language, confidence, and creativity through festive stories, music and movement, arts and crafts, vocabulary work, sensory play, and English/Mandarin immersion.

Here are some of our favourite moments from our Playgroup class this week. From warm snowman hugs to snowy sensory play and winter storytelling, our littlest learners brought so much joy into the classroom as we stepped into the festive season together.

Across our Southside community, it has been a week filled with kindness, curiosity, and connection. As Christmas approaches, our children are learning what it means to share, to help one another, and to bring joy into everyday moments. These gentle lessons reflect the heart of Mulberry House.

As we continue to embrace the spirit of giving, I would love to invite all our current families and families exploring Mulberry House for their children to join us at our Annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, 13 December.
