A warm welcome to the newest members of our dental family! On September 2nd, the School of Dentistry hosted its official Orientation for the 2026/2027 academic year, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey for our incoming students.

The session was filled with inspiring words, essential guidance, and valuable advice shared by our School Director (Dr Ruemetta Overton), Preclinical Coordinator (Dr Raquel Sagon) , and the UGDSA President (Le Shana Valentine) and Vice President (Aaliyah Seeram).
From getting familiar with our preclinical facilities to understanding what lies ahead in clinical practice, our new cohort got a firsthand look at the dedicated community supporting them every step of the way.

To our incoming students: the road ahead will be challenging, rewarding, and deeply fulfilling. We are thrilled to watch you grow, learn, and transform into the future leaders of oral healthcare. Welcome aboard, and here’s to a remarkable year ahead! 🦷✨
