This morning, our Grade 11 Business students took charge of assembly with a powerful presentation on Peer Pressure. Through engaging skits, a thoughtful message, a creative acrostic, and dramatic poetry, they reminded us of the importance of standing firm, making wise choices, and staying true to who we are.

Well done to the students for their creativity, confidence, and courage in tackling such an important topic, and to their teachers for guiding them. We are proud of you! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝโœจ

After a very long time, our assembly was blessed with the sound of our beloved school song, beautifully rendered by our Grade 11 Business class. Hearing it again stirred pride, memories, and a renewed sense of unity across Berbice High School.

Thank you, Grade 11, for reviving this treasured tradition. As we journey through our 110th Sapphire Anniversary, moments like this remind us of the heritage we carry. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

As we celebrate Amerindian Heritage Month, our Grade 11 Theatre Arts students, led by Miss R. Cort, brought the stage to assembly this morning with a moving performance of "When the Forest Speaks." Through movement, voice, and storytelling, they honoured the wisdom of our Indigenous peoples and reminded us of our responsibility to protect the land and forests we call home.

Our Grade 11 Theatre Arts students proudly represented Berbice High School at this yearโ€™s Amerindian Celebration held at Bermine Ground, Stanleytown.

The students were invited to deliver the opening item for the celebration, showcasing their creativity, talent, confidence, and dedication to the performing arts.

We are incredibly proud of our young performers for stepping up and representing BHS with such enthusiasm and professionalism.
