Coinciding with Guru Purnima celebrations, IT equipment was handed over to the IT lab at the Saraswati Vidya Niketan school at Cornelia Ida in West Coast Demerara, Guyana as part of expression of gratitude and token of friendship between India and Guyana.

The gift of equipment is a symbol of friendship between the people of India and people of Guyana was a gift from the people and Government of India to the Saraswati Vidya Niketan school, which is one of the prominent schools in Guyana recognized for its academic excellence as well as value-based education preserving and promoting our shared culture, heritage and traditions- stated the High Commissioner of India, Dr Amit Telang.

Swami Aksharanandji, speaking at the handing over ceremony, recalled the historic visit of Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to Guyana and to the Saraswati Vidya Niketan in November 2024 and conveyed his gratitude for this symbol of friendship and strong historical bonds between India and Guyana.

The students of SVN have once again demonstrated their commitment to a worthy cause by successfully organizing and executing a wonderful blood drive.

Their dedication, teamwork, and compassion made the event a resounding success, helping to secure much-needed blood donations for those in need.
