Coinciding with Guru Purnima celebrations, IT equipment was handed over to the IT lab at the Saraswati Vidya Niketan school at Cornelia Ida in West Coast Demerara, Guyana as part of expression of gratitude and token of friendship between India and Guyana.
The gift of equipment is a symbol of friendship between the people of India and people of Guyana was a gift from the people and Government of India to the Saraswati Vidya Niketan school, which is one of the prominent schools in Guyana recognized for its academic excellence as well as value-based education preserving and promoting our shared culture, heritage and traditions- stated the High Commissioner of India, Dr Amit Telang.
Swami Aksharanandji, speaking at the handing over ceremony, recalled the historic visit of Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to Guyana and to the Saraswati Vidya Niketan in November 2024 and conveyed his gratitude for this symbol of friendship and strong historical bonds between India and Guyana.

Another Successful Blood Drive 🩸
The Blood Drive, managed and organized by the dedicated students of SVN, was held on November 30th and December 1st. Thanks to their efforts and the generosity of the donors, over 200 donations were successfully collected!
