In 2009, the school took its first attempt at CSEC with six students of the fourth form, in the subjects, English A, Accounts, Social Studies, Business & Office Administration. We received one hundred percent passes, with Rovi Bhagwandin, received five distinctions in all subjects, Shenellie Harry, four grade ones and a grade two, Ryan Bhagwandin, Shivannon Rambharose, and the other kids repeated the same degree of marks, grades one and two. The school has maintained this performance for the five years. We are a Christian based school and is very rich on discipline and studying. Homework, Projects and Assignments are important and the school see to the students completely all on a timely basis. No mini skirts, cell phones, relationships are allowed. We stand for morale values. Small Classes, individual attention, and teachers learning to respect the students as the same is expected from the students. Words of negativism must not be used to students or in the presence of students. We must lead by examples as the adults. Teachers also are not allowed to wear attires that will distract or cause negative discussion about the quality of staff of the school. The school is more of a friendly environment, so students can relax and communicate. All extra curriculum activities on or off the school premises is and must be supervised by an adult. This year 2015, the school is reintroducing the dancing and singing classes. Drama and swimming are two new programs on the extra curriculum programs. Specialist teachers added to the primary for better results in the Primary Department. Revamping the Curriculum and setting a new Criteria for the teachers to meet in their subject and class performance and output. We've taken students school have considered to challenged or not academically capable of much and see generous progress from them in both NGSA & CSEC. When schools only take high-flyers into their school, then claim credit, or take students in the later grades before an examination, see excellent results and claim credit for the product, I smile. The foundation was laid by someone else. The school like taking the rough unpolished stone and cut, grind, polish and put the diamond on display. A teacher knows his or her full potential when you can accomplish the latter of the description above. Teaching is taking any student and working with them until the best is seen. It's hard work, but well deserving for the future of the students in your care.
