International Missions Information Session
Dunwoody UMC has two International Mission trips for 2023!

The first trip will be to Guatemala to serve Project Salud y Paz. The trip dates are August 19 through August 26. There is an interest meeting for the Guatemala trip on April 19 at 7 pm in the Young Adult Suite.

The second trip will travel to Kenya to serve at Mully Children’s Family (MCF). The trip dates are September 24 through October 2. There is an interest meeting for the Kenya trip on April 26 at 7 pm in the Young Adult Suite.

We are excited to announce that we are gauging interest and reviewing requirements regarding going back to Guatemala in August of this year! If you’d like to learn more or join the conversation, please plan to join us at the church on May 16th at 7pm (or email Guy Griswold at [email protected] )

DUMC Celebrates International Missions Partner Awareness Month! DUMC has sent people to Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Brazil. Thank you for your continued support of DUMC missions!

NOTES for Mission-Friends ... The UMVIM Winter Mission Academy, hosted by the South Central and Western Jurisdictions, is open to all to attend. The virtual event will take place across 12 days, from February 1-12, 2021. All classes will meet online from 7-9:00 p.m. Find a schedule of events and registration at https://www.umvim.org/training-schedule/winter-mission-academy.

We miss being with our friends in Guatemala! We hope to be back next year!

Update: Obviously our August trip to Guatemala was cancelled in response to Covid-19; but Dunwoody UMC was still able to send some financial support to Salud Y Paz ...

We look forward to the church re-opening soon, and being able to schedule some new missions opportunities. Thanks everybody!
