🇬🇹¿Hizo lo correcto?
El señor en el video iba con sus hijos en el carro y la señora chocó contra ellos. Luego, ella se dió a la fuga. Él la siguió para anotar sus placas (aunque no sé cuánto la siguió)… eventualmente, ella se detuvo y salió con su herramienta a amenazar.
Estas herramientas no son para amenazas. Cada vez que desenfundas, debes preguntarte “A quién estoy salvando?” Si la respuesta es “A nadie (ni siquiera a mí mismo)”, entonces no hay motivo para desenfundar. No saber cuándo usar una herramienta es un peligro, para todos alrededor y también para el que la usa incorrectamente. Seamos portadores responsables.

🇺🇸 Did she do the right thing?
The man in the video was with his children in the car and the lady hit their car. Then, she fled. He followed her to write down her plates (although I don’t know how long he followed her)... eventually, she stopped and got out with her tool to threaten the family.
These tools are not for threats. Every time you draw, you must ask yourself “Who am I saving?” If the answer is “no one (not even myself)”, then there is no reason to draw. Not knowing when to use a tool is a danger, for everyone around and also for those who use it incorrectly. Let’s be responsible.

🇬🇹Lo bueno: el primer defensor estuvo atento, intentó alejarse concautela y no accionó mientras recibió el ataque. Considerando que el maleante venía con la herramienta en la mano, hubiera sido mala movida actuar en ese instante.
Lo malo: el segundo defensor se acercó tanto al ladrón, que el ladrón tuvo la oportunidad de casi quitarle su herramienta. Estas herramientas son de distancia, y acercarse a un atacante no es lo mejor, precisamente por lo mismo.
La suerte: el primer defensor llevaba herramienta también y terminó salvando al salvador. La distracción del primero fue suficiente para que el segundo actuara. Tuvieron suerte.

herramienta. No soy fan de portar en otro lugar que no sea el cincho, pero funcionó. Quizás pudo accionar antes, sin embargo, prefirió la sorpresa y aunque era más arriesgada por la cercanía del atacante, funcionó en esta ocasión.
Agacharse dentro del carro pudo haberle ayudado a hacer la silueta propia más pequeña y cubrirse un poco más, pero salió ileso. Lo felicito por haberse defendido y agradezco que haya salido ileso... aunque siempre es bueno buscar como mejorar nuestra defensa y nuestras oportunidades de salir ileso de un incidente.

🇺🇸 Interesting place where he kept his tool. I'm not a fan of carrying anywhere off body, but it worked. Perhaps he could have acted before, however, he preferred surprising the thug and although it was riskier due to the proximity of the attacker, it worked.
Crouching inside the car could have helped him make his own silhouette smaller and get better cover, though in the end he was unharmed. I congratulate him for defending himself and I’m glad he came out unharmed... though it is always good to look for how to improve our defense and our opportunities to emerge unscathed from an incident.
