We were pleased to host the lecture “Party Politics in Spain: A Minority Government in a Polarized Context” on 10 March 2026 at the School of Political Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
The lecture was delivered by Irene Martín Cortés from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, who offered an insightful analysis of the evolution of the Spanish party system and the challenges of minority governance in a highly polarized political environment.
The event brought together postgraduate students, researchers, and members of the academic community, creating a stimulating discussion on contemporary developments in Spanish politics and broader trends in European party systems.
