The AntiGypsyism project partners are meeting in Nicosia for the next Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by Humane Technology! 🎲

Representatives from the Institute for Roma and Minorities Inclusion (Germany), Humane Technology (Cyprus), PAL Network (Belgium), Symplexis (Greece), RYCC (North Macedonia) and Brainstorming (Spain) will come together to:

✅ Review progress and monitor ongoing activities
✅ Finalise the format, rules and educational guidelines of our board game

The game is designed for young people and youth workers. It aims to challenge stereotypes about Roma, help players recognise discrimination and encourage inclusive attitudes. 💙

September has been another inspiring month for the PAL Network community, marked by meaningful achievements, new opportunities, and a continued commitment to inclusion, participation, and social impact across Europe. 🌍

This month, we proudly highlighted the release of the ROMDIEM Documentary, commemorating the memory of the Roma Holocaust, and celebrated the successful final transnational meeting of the Proud Ambassadors project in Thessaloniki. Across the network, our members continued implementing initiatives that promote youth participation, social inclusion, active citizenship, education, digital innovation, and sustainable community development.

From empowering local communities and supporting vulnerable groups to strengthening international cooperation and lifelong learning opportunities, PAL Network members continue making a positive impact across Europe and contributing to a more inclusive and resilient future.

🎬 A story that must be remembered.

The Romdiem Documentary is now available, shedding light on the history of the Roma Holocaust through voices, memories, art, and lived experiences from across Europe.

Following a successful online premiere attended by more than 200 participants, the conversation continues through dialogue, education, and collective remembrance.

🌈 What an inspiring way to close the Proud Ambassadors Project journey!

In Thessaloniki, project partners came together one last time to celebrate successes, share experiences, and reflect on the impact we have created together over the past months. Beyond the project discussions and future plans, the meeting reminded us how important personal connections are. It was a great opportunity to finally meet colleagues and partners face to face, strengthen friendships, and reaffirm our shared commitment to empowering young people across Europe.

Thank you to CUBE Non-Profit Organisation for the warm hospitality and to every partner who contributed to making this journey so meaningful.

Although the project is reaching its conclusion, the relationships, knowledge, and positive impact created through Proud Ambassadors will continue long after the final meeting.

August has been a month full of growth, collaboration, and impactful initiatives across the PAL Network community.

This month, we are delighted to welcome a new member from Hungary, further strengthening our European network and our shared commitment to youth empowerment, inclusion, and active participation. We also highlight exciting opportunities for young people, including the upcoming Growing into Real Leaders (GIRL) Youth Exchange in Brussels, focused on female leadership and community engagement.

Among this month's achievements are important Erasmus+ and European cooperation projects promoting health, vocational education, sustainability, entrepreneurship, social inclusion, and cultural heritage. Our members across Belgium, Spain, Türkiye, Greece, and Cyprus continue to develop innovative initiatives that create opportunities for learning, participation, and community development.

From mental well-being and community resilience activities to youth participation, environmental awareness, digital innovation, and international cooperation, PAL Network members are making a positive impact in local communities while contributing to a more inclusive and resilient Europe.

July has been another inspiring month for PAL Network, filled with initiatives that celebrate cultural heritage, strengthen education, promote inclusion, and create new opportunities for communities across Europe.

This month’s highlights include:

- The launch of the Resilient Threads Interactive Digital Booklet, preserving and promoting Romani cultural heritage through storytelling and youth participation.

- The welcoming of a new PAL Network member, Regional Cluster North-East (Bulgaria), further strengthening our growing European community.

- Educational, sustainability, and youth engagement activities implemented by partners across Romania, France, Spain, and Türkiye, focusing on active citizenship, environmental awareness, inclusive education, and international cooperation.

Through collaborative projects and local initiatives, our network continues to empower vulnerable groups, promote lifelong learning, foster intercultural dialogue, and contribute to a more inclusive and resilient Europe.

International Youth Day | August 12

Today, we celebrate the passion, talent, and potential of young people who continue to challenge barriers, drive innovation, and contribute to more inclusive societies.

At PAL Network, we are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for young people to participate, lead, and make their voices heard. Through our initiatives and collaborations across Europe, we support youth engagement, strengthen civic participation, and promote equal opportunities for Roma and other marginalized communities.

We firmly believe that when young people are empowered, communities become stronger, more diverse, and better equipped to face the challenges of tomorrow.

🌍 On this International Youth Day, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders, advocates, and changemakers.

On 2 August, we commemorate the European Roma Holocaust Memorial Day, honoring the memory of the hundreds of thousands of Roma and Sinti who were persecuted and murdered during the Holocaust.

This day serves as a solemn reminder of the importance of preserving historical memory, recognizing past injustices, and standing firmly against racism, antigypsyism, discrimination, and all forms of hatred.

By remembering the past, we reaffirm our shared commitment to human dignity, equality, inclusion, and human rights.

We remember. We honor. We stand against hate.
