Stop chasing skinny.

Beautiful, you are missing the point.

For years, so many of us were taught that being skinny was the goal. That if we could just lose the weight, fit into the jeans, or see a smaller number on the scale, life would somehow be better.

I'm here to tell you... it won't.

What WILL make your life better is being strong. 💪

Strong enough to travel the world.
Strong enough to carry your own luggage.
Strong enough to play with your grandkids.
Strong enough to get up off the floor with ease.
Strong enough to live the life you actually want to live.

The reality is that women start losing muscle in their 30s, and that loss accelerates after 40 and again after menopause.

📉 Adults lose approximately 3-8% of muscle mass per decade after age 30.
📉 Women can lose up to 10% of their muscle during menopause.
📉 Strength declines even faster, often 1-2% per year after age 50.
📉 Less muscle means a slower metabolism, reduced insulin sensitivity, and an easier time gaining fat.

This is why I prioritize strength training, protein, daily movement, and supporting my body as I age.

At 59 years old, I feel stronger than ever.
Leaner than ever.
Fitter than ever.

Not because I'm obsessed with being skinny.

Because I'm obsessed with feeling amazing.

The goal isn't to be the smallest version of yourself.

The goal is to be the strongest, healthiest, most vibrant version of yourself. ❤️

I feel like millennials had perfect timing!!!

We partied before everything was documented 📸💃
No evidence.
No viral moments.
Just blurry memories and maybe a disposable camera somewhere 😅

And somehow we evolved into our wellness and wine era 🍷✨

Now it’s:
Fitness 💪
Protein 🍳
Travel ✈️
Work from home 💻

All balanced with a great glass of wine 🍷

Honestly… I think we nailed it. 🙌

Memorial Day ❤️🤍💙

This weekend is about so much more than BBQs, beach days, sales, and long weekends.

It is about remembering and honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this country and the freedoms we sometimes take for granted. 🇺🇸

The United States was founded on the idea of freedom. Freedom from tyranny. Freedom to speak, worship, dream, build, love and live life with opportunity and hope. And while we may not always agree on everything, one thing we should never forget is the incredible sacrifice made by those who protected those freedoms with their lives.

So this weekend… take a moment. ❤️

Remember those who never made it home.
Remember the families who carry that loss forever.
Remember that freedom is not free.

And then celebrate.
Celebrate life.
Celebrate family.
Celebrate the privilege of living in a country where we still have the freedom to chase our dreams and create the life we want.

if you saw my reel yesterday- it was audio only- the test was to see how many details you could get of what I was doing just from audio! and here is the answer- thanks for playing! Let me know below how well you did!

- open the wine fridge
-pull out the shelf
-get a bottle of wine (white wine- bonus points)
-close the fridge
-bring the bottle to the counter
-take off the foil
-use my automatic wine corkscrew opener
-pour the wine
-toast a cheers to you
