📊 Listening to Young People: Needs Assessment in STEMpower Through Art
At the heart of STEMpower Through Art is a simple but powerful principle:
young people must be heard before solutions are designed.
Before implementing any activities, all partner organisations carried out a structured Needs Assessment involving young people, youth workers and educators. This process helped us identify real needs, interests and barriers related to:
✔ access to STEM & creative learning
✔ inclusion and participation
✔ digital skills and self-expression
✔ wellbeing and safe learning environments
🧩 The collected insights directly shaped:
• the learning activities and workshops
• the tools and methods used
• the safeguarding and inclusion approach of the project

By listening first, we ensure that our youth activities are meaningful, inclusive and truly responsive to young people’s realities. 🤝✨
