The workshop will focus on three key themes:

✅ inclusive and transformative education to create open, accessible learning environments that value every individual
✅ digital tools, creative approaches and innovative practices to renew teaching and learning

🌍 The Final Conference of the Erasmus+ project “GreenComp School” was successfully held in Volos, Greece, at the University of Thessaly, marking the conclusion of a meaningful journey of collaboration, exchange, and shared learning.

✨ This final event was an important opportunity to present the project’s achievements, reflect on the results accomplished, and celebrate a rich experience of international cooperation, mutual learning, and a shared commitment to promoting sustainability competences in education.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you goes to all the partners, teachers, experts, and participants who contributed to this project with dedication, enthusiasm, and vision.

📘 GreenComp School leaves behind valuable tools, inspiring ideas, and lasting perspectives that will continue to support more conscious, inclusive, and sustainable educational pathways.

🌱 This is not simply the end of a project, but the beginning of a renewed commitment to building an education system that empowers responsible citizens and contributes to a more sustainable future.

📢 Πρόσκληση στο Τελικό Συνέδριο του GreenComp School στον Βόλο!

Το Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας (Εργαστήριο Εκπαίδευσης και Επικοινωνίας σε Πολυπολιτισμικά Περιβάλλοντα) σας προσκαλεί στις 20 και 21 Μαρτίου 2026, στο συνέδριο με τίτλο:

«Το σχολείο ως κέντρο βιωσιμότητας: Προσεγγίσεις, εργαλεία και πρακτικές για την ενίσχυση της σχολικής κοινότητας».

Στόχος μας είναι να δούμε πώς οι πράσινες δεξιότητες μπορούν να γίνουν μόνιμος πυλώνας της σύγχρονης σχολικής τάξης.

✅ Στο συνέδριο θα παρουσιαστούν:
• Οδηγοί προγραμμάτων και εκπαιδευτικό υλικό για την Πρωτοβάθμια Εκπαίδευση.
• Δραστηριότητες βασισμένες στη μεθοδολογία project (PBL).
• Εργαλεία αξιοποιήσιμα από εκπαιδευτικούς, οικογένειες αλλά και μελλοντικούς δασκάλους.

🌐 Συμμετοχή: Το συνέδριο είναι υβριδικό (διά ζώσης και μέσω Webex).

The GreenComp School project is heading to its grand finale! Join us on March 20-21, 2026, in , Greece, for our Final Conference. Hosted by the University of Thessaly, this landmark event celebrates our transition from a project to a permanent, long-term resource for green education in Europe. 🏛️✨

What to expect:
✅ Pilot Results: We’re presenting the final outcomes from testing our 24 training courses with teachers, students, and parents.
✅ Interactive Workshops: Get hands-on with our gamification strategies and the final versions of our online games! 🎮
✅ Lasting Impact: We are celebrating the successful validation of the GreenComp framework and its future in fostering a "Sustainability Mindset" across schools. 🌿🎓
