🌍 Cultural Bridges for Human Rights 🇬🇷🇸🇪
🤝An Erasmus+ partnership between the 3rd Lyceum of Koropi, Greece, and JENSEN Gymnasium Göteborg, Sweden, successfully concluded during the week of 4–8 May 2026.
🎯Focused on Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (freedom of thought, conscience, and religion), the students worked on the Raoul Wallenberg Academy’s Cube Programme. Inspired by Wallenberg’s actions, they created paintings, photographs, and music to be displayed on the cube’s walls.
Activities included:
✔️Role Models workshops on Human Rights and Civic Courage
✔️A guided visit to the “Existence” exhibition at the Museum of World Culture
✔️A guided visual analysis tour at the Göteborg Museum of Art (Konstmuseet, Götaplatsen)
The mobility project offered a visual and emotional approach to themes such as identity, diversity, and human existence. It also strengthened participants’ awareness of inclusion, freedom of expression, and democratic decision-making processes.

🇪🇺 ERASMUS+ | Democracy & Responsibility 2026
📍 Hosted by the 3rd Lyceum of Koropi 🇬🇷 in partnership with the National Military College ‘Ştefan cel Mare’ 🇷🇴
📅 27 April – 1 May 2026
A week of learning & action on Democracy, Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility
🔹 What we did:
➡️ Explored rights & responsibilities for a safer environment 🌱
➡️ Met the Deputy Governor Ms. and discovered how Civil Protection tackles the climate crisis
➡️ Learned how to build local disaster resilience with real-life preparedness skills
➡️ Simulated ancient democracy at Pnyx Hill and visited the Acropolis and Parthenon 🏛️
➡️ Observed the flora & fauna at the National Garden of Athens 🌳
➡️ Learned about biodiversity & water protection, culture & sustainability on a Natura 2000 island (Aegina, St. Nektarios Monastery, pistachio cultivation)
🔹 What we gained:
➡️ Climate awareness & disaster preparedness skills
➡️ Stronger sense of environmental responsibility
➡️ Active engagement in democracy & sustainability

🇬🇷🇸🇪 ‘Cultural Bridges for Human Rights’: Learning & Dialogue in Action!
🌍 From 2–6 February 2026, the 3rd Lyceum of Koropi hosted teachers and students from Jensen Gymnasium, Gothenburg for an inspiring Erasmus+ exchange
🎯 Focused on Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (freedom of thought, conscience & religion), the week blended experiential, collaborative, and non-formal learning 📚
🏛️ From exploring ancient democracy at the Acropolis, Parthenon & Pnyx through interactive games 🃏
🏛️ To philosophy workshops at Plato’s Academy
🤝 Collaborative peace-building at the Municipal Library of Koropi with a shared Peace Charter
🎨 A Freedom Expression Wall showcasing youth perspectives on belief & identity
🏛️ And a visit to the Embassy of Sweden in Athens highlighting Greek-Swedish cooperation
The journey concluded with a human rights workshop at “The Smile of the Child” NGO and certificates celebrating a week of learning, friendship, and shared values 🌈

🌍 Erasmus+ Ready, Steady, Digital! 🇬🇷 🇮🇹
🎯We are excited to share the successful completion of our Erasmus+ project with the mobility to Liceo Statale Salvatore Di Giacomo, San Sebastiano al Vesuvio from 17th to 22nd November 2025.
The project participants visited heritage sights in Naples, the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum and Sorrento and engaged in collaborative workshops to:
➡️explore and integrate digital tools into the classroom and highlight how technology can make learning more interactive and creative
➡️ensure that every student can cope with the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities of a digital world
➡️foster cross-cultural understanding and cooperation
The Greek and Italian participants shared experiences and exchanged ideas, worked together exploring digital tools, and built friendships by learning about each other’s history and culture.

🌍The 3rd and last transnational meeting in the frame of the Erasmus+ project “ERASMOVE 2025” took place at Lycée Prieur de la Côte d'Or, Auxonne, France between 29 September and 3 October 2025.
🇫🇷🇬🇷🇨🇿Students and teachers from 3rd Lyceum of Koropi, Greece, and from Gymnazium Jana Vlahoslava, Czechia, joined their French partners in a week full of physical training.
📌They created a crossfit tutorial video and participated in various sport activities such as rock climbing and laser running at Mont Guerin and kayaking and mountain biking along Saone River.
In the parallel programme, a day trip to Arc et Senans gave them the opportunity to learn about Royal salt manufacture and wander around the Royal gardens, a typical sample of local flora. They also visited Louis Pasteur’s house in Dole where they attended a workshop about “Hidden sugar and fat” in a common diet.
Another day was dedicated to Dijon, the historical capital of Burgundy, where the Philippe le Bon Tower and the museum of fine art impressed everyone!
At the Centre d'Expertise de la Performance of the city, the students took short physical tests and met local athletes who shared their experiences.
🎯“ERASMOVE 2025” project was completed successfully and fulfilled its goals: Students realized the importance of physical exercise in our daily routine and the connection between sports and wellbeing.
This mobility in Auxonne was an unforgettable experience for our students who made new friends, experienced new culture and broadened their horizons.

📍3rd Lyceum of Koropi participants in the Erasmus+ project 2024-1-EL01-KA121-SCH-000217340 entitled ‘EnviEra’ visited the National Military school 'Ştefan cel Mare' in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Romania, between 11-17 May 2025 to take part along with Institut Camarles students in experiential activities regarding the conservation of flora and fauna in natural and peri-urban environments.
➡️At the city fire station, we found out how firefighting networks operate in the Balkans, met the firefighters who assisted Greece in last year's forest fires, and used firefighting tools in virtual conditions to understand the challenges when on duty.
➡️At the Prisaca Dornei reforestation nursery, we planted trees in the frame of the state reforestation programme and in the Calimani National Park, we got to know the fauna of the wider Bucovina region, saw footprints and heard the sounds of various species of animals and birds.
➡️On the Rarău mountains, we attended a workshop on forest survival, learned how to orient ourselves using a compass, and watched a rescue demonstration by the Romanian rescue dog Sven and his trainer.
🔬At the Forestry Department of the University of Suceava, professors informed us about the use of specialized scientific appliances in wood research to mitigate the effects of climate change on forests.
🎯The interactive and digital activities of the last meeting of the EnviEra project followed goal 15 of the European Agenda 2030 to shape active citizenship and a more responsible attitude to life.
