"The project aims to significantly enhance the participation and success of women in the green technology sector through a comprehensive strategy that integrates advocacy, policy experimentation, and educational empowerment."

Our partners have successfully conducted national stakeholder workshops.

These workshops brought together key actors — from VET providers and green tech companies to public authorities, NGOs, and women entrepreneurs — to exchange insights and co-create solutions.

The discussions focused on:

• Identifying barriers limiting women’s access to green technology careers
• Gathering real, on-the-ground evidence to strengthen our Policy Blueprint
• Promoting inclusive participation across all governance levels
• Building long-term collaboration through the Women4GreenEU Advocacy Network

By engaging diverse stakeholders in each partner country, we are ensuring that future policies are not only aligned with EU priorities like the Green Deal and Skills Agenda, but also grounded in real experiences.

Together, we are shaping a more inclusive and sustainable green transition 💚

🌍 ♀️ International Women’s Day

Women are key drivers of the green transition. Through innovation, leadership, and collaboration, they are building more sustainable communities and a greener future for Europe.

We celebrate and support women who are leading change in sustainability, green technology, entrepreneurship, and climate action.
,
Together, we continue working towards a green, inclusive and equal Europe.

26/02/2026

We are working to remove barriers, build skills, and increase women’s participation in the Green Technology sector.

Through mentorship, VET programmes, advocacy networks, and policy innovation, we are helping shape a greener and more inclusive Europe.

Because the energy transition must work for everyone.

26/02/2026

We are proud to introduce the Women4AGreenEU Advocacy Platform a dedicated online hub bringing together knowledge, tools, and voices to advance gender-responsive green policies and an inclusive energy transition.

🌱 The platform serves as a focal point for the Women4AGreenEU Advocacy & Policy Innovation Ecosystem, featuring:

🔹 Women in Green Tech policy assessment & monitoring
🔹 Policy blueprints for local, national, and EU-level decision-makers
🔹 The Women4AGreenEU Network Joint Statement & shared goals
🔹 Best practices and inspiring success stories
🔹 Communication and outreach materials
🔹 Toolkits for small-scale campaigns (schools, VET providers, local authorities)
🔹 Resources for VET providers and educators
🔹 Public reports and evidence-based insights

This platform is designed to support advocacy, inform policy, and empower women to actively shape the green transition.

💚 Because a sustainable future must also be inclusive.

26/02/2026

As Europe accelerates towards a sustainable future, one thing is clear: the green transition must also be gender-inclusive.

Women remain underrepresented in renewable energy, green tech, and climate leadership, not because of a lack of potential, but because of structural barriers and unequal access to skills development.

Through Women4Green EU, we are working to:

✅ Close the green skills gap
✅ Integrate gender equality into green policies
✅ Empower women across the EU neighbourhood
✅ Promote inclusive participation in the energy transition

The intersection between the gender gap and the skills gap presents both a challenge and an opportunity. When women gain access to green skills, training, and leadership pathways, communities become more resilient, innovative, and sustainable.

A just energy transition is not only about carbon neutrality it is about equal opportunity.

💚 Let’s build a green future that works for everyone.
