2025 marked a major milestone: 25 years of LEAF.

Now active in 28 countries, LEAF is a growing programme supporting FEE’s work towards the UN Decade for Ecosystem Restoration. LEAF continues to inspire learners of all ages to connect with nature, enhance biodiversity, and act through Ecosystem Restoration Education (ERE). This year, as the Decade reached its midpoint, LEAF stood out as a key programme for localising ERE and helping communities everywhere reconnect with nature. A message FEE highlighted at the IUCN Congress.

As LEAF continues to grow, an increasing number of countries are adopting the programme, expanding its focus beyond forests to embrace a wider range of ecosystems. This momentum reflects a shared commitment to restoration education that is locally rooted, globally relevant, and ready for the future.

Thank you for 25 years of environmental education, restoration, and collaboration. Here’s to the next chapter.

Τα Χριστούγεννα 🎄 πλησιάζουν και η Ελληνική Εταιρία Προστασίας της Φύσης, εθνικός χειριστής του διεθνούς δικτύου ΠΕ «Μαθαίνω για τα Οικοσυστήματα και τα Δάση» 🌳 και η Διεύθυνση Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης Λάρισας, συντονιστής του δικτύου, προσκαλούν τα σχολεία που συμμετέχουν στο δίκτυο να συμμετέχουν και φέτος, για 3η συνεχόμενη χρονιά, στη Δράση «Δέντρο – λιχουδιά για ζωάκια και πουλιά» 🐦‍⬛και να στολίσουν ένα αλλιώτικο χριστουγεννιάτικο δέντρο στην αυλή του σχολείου ή στο κοντινό αλσάκι ή δασάκι της περιοχής τους.
