Here are 5 major barriers to religious inclusivity in education — and practical solutions for addressing them:

1️⃣ Lack of Awareness and Understanding
Many educators and students have limited knowledge about different religious beliefs and practices. This can lead to stereotypes, misunderstandings, or unintentional exclusion.

✅ Solution:
Provide professional development, intercultural training, and curriculum content that promotes religious literacy and mutual respect.

2️⃣ One-Size-Fits-All School Policies
Rigid schedules, dress codes, or holiday calendars may unintentionally disadvantage students from minority faith backgrounds.

As we look back on the past year at UPRISE, we are proud of the progress we have made together ✨
