We at GDCI India Private Limited are pleased to share the successful completion of a customer visit in Rajasthan with the Grecian Magnesite Team, focused on exploring new opportunities in the rapidly growing Indian Emery Stone market.
Our Director, Anup Rathore, along with our Senior Sales Manager, Anil, had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with Eleni Iskou – Sales Manager Specialisties and Dr. Haris Yiannoulakis – R&D Manger.
The visit was centered around understanding the evolving landscape of the Indian Emery Stone industry, particularly in key manufacturing hubs like Rajasthan. Discussions covered product performance, application-specific requirements, and the role of high-quality Magnesium Oxide in enhancing durability, strength, and grinding efficiency.
This interaction created a strong platform to identify new business opportunities, exchange technical expertise, and strengthen collaboration for future growth.

For the second consecutive year, we proudly supported the Cholomon Mount Ice Swimming Event in Taxiarchis, Chalkidiki.
With inclusivity at its core, the event welcomed participants of different ages and abilities to step into waters below 5°C and take on a demanding winter challenge shaped by resilience and determination.
For the first time, the event featured an organized hike to the Taxiarchis Dam, followed by a live ice swimming demonstration by experienced international athletes, including Guinness World Record holders from Ireland.
We strengthen safety through preparation.
Grecian Magnesite successfully participated in an emergency preparedness drill at the Yerakini mine, in cooperation with the Polygyros Fire Department, the Hellenic Police, EKAB, the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Polygyros, and volunteer organizations.
The exercise simulated fuel tank fire and rescue scenarios in an industrial environment, testing emergency response procedures and on-site coordination under real operating conditions.
