Two weeks full of classes, food, wine, laughter and maybe a little too much moussaka

I've been so lazy lately and I always forget to post photos from our cooking classes but I promised myself (as well as almost all of our guests) that I will try to be more active. We had such a nice time last week making tiropita and moussaka and many more things with a group of wonderful people. Love my job ❤️

So what is a better thing to do when you are visiting a new city and it rains cats and dogs than taking a cooking class?

Podariko in Greek means the first person who sets foot at a place in the new year. Marjoria and Malte, whose original booking was for March 2020, made at the very beginning of January our podariko for 2022 and I am pretty sure that this year will be a lucky one! Thank you guys 😘

We had such a nice time cooking with Lori, John, Cris and Sandra yesterday. Not only they rolled the perfect phyllo for our spanakopita but they also made some of the best dolmadakia I have ever tasted!

After visiting almost every Greek island, Aaron and his family spent their last night in Greece learning to cook like a Greek 😃

It's been a while since my last post but August was such a terrible month with fires burning all over Greece so posting about people having fun felt out of place.
At CookinAthens we had a really fun month with people all over the world learning how to cook a perfect moussaka and rolling phyllo for a cheesepie like Kim and Dane who cooked everything absolutely perfectly!

It's not a good time to celebrate anything these days in Greece but 2 years ago we had the first real class at CookinAthens with Elvio. His "podariko" (as we call in Greek the person who sets foot first somewhere) was more than perfect! Thank you Elvio!
Elvio is learning how to make phyllo

Yes it's hot out there but you still can enjoy cooking. Abby and her friend passed their last afternoon in Athens cooking pastitsio and spanakopita and (as they said) enjoyed the best dinner they had in Greece ❤️❤️❤️
