Classical Association of Ireland Teachers The CAIT is the subject teacher association for Ancient Greek, Latin and Classical Studies in the Irish post-primary system.

The aim of our association is to support, foster and promote the continued vitality of Classics in Irish Education, at all levels.

Elmo imperiale italico di tipo "G" ritrovato a Hebron (Palestina), databile alla prima metà del II secolo d.C., probabilmente con più precisione in relazione ai fatti militari della rivolta di Bar-Kokhba (132-135), scoppiata durante il regno dell’imperatore Adriano.
La calotta è divisa in quadranti da una croce in ferro; ogni quadrante è decorato da una semi luna in lega di rame. Presentano decorazioni anche la visiera e la fascia frontale, entrambe in lega di rame. I bracci della croce metallica sulla calotta hanno una funzione meramente pratica, andando a rinforzare la struttura dell’elmo. Le protezioni per le orecchie sono più larghe rispetto ai modelli precedenti, e similmente è più ampio e angolato anche il paranuca.
