Today we managed to make packages containing a full Christmas dinner (turkey, potatoes, carrots, a pack of rice, kourampiedes, orange juice, a bottle of wine and a cabbage) for 50 different families! All result of the fundraising that our student volunteers did. Again a big thank you to the students who participated and made this happen and to Σκλαβενίτης for the kind donation of 500€

I hope that you are all doing great with your finals. As you probably know ACG Cares did its annual Christmas fundraising, with the purpose to give full Christmas dinners to families that are going through difficulties these harsh times.

This year by selling lottery tickets, the book sale in the main corridor and the kind donation of 500€ from Sklavenitis, we are able to make the Christmas dinners for 50 families through the Iliachtida NGO.

On Monday between 9:30 and 10:30 in the morning, we are going to make the packages for the donation to Iliachtida. We understand that some of you will probably leave this week for the holidays, but if any of you wants to help. Pass by the Office of Student Affairs to give us a hand.

On Wednesday, December 2, met representatives of organizations active in supporting children, responding to refugee and humanitarian crisis, (re)integrating the homeless into society, advocating for equality and non-discrimination, protecting animals and raising awareness about their rights at the Arts Center Gallery, to learn how we can volunteer and support their mission. A vendor was be selling the Shedia Street Paper at the Arts Center lobby during the ‘Become a Volunteer!’ event.

Dear ACG Community, we need help selling lottery tickets for the Xmas fundraising initiative. The more we sell the more families will have a decent Christmas dinner. Come by the Student Affairs office to get your ticket booklet. 30euros buys a dinner for a family of four. Let's try to be more selfless these difficult times.

Don't forget to volunteer for all the exciting ACG Cares projects underway for this semester! Deadline to declare your participation is this Friday, October 30 :)
