Our JOURNEY at ASTRO SUMMER CAMP starts tomorrow, in the early hours, just after the new moon in Cancer.
As the rays of the dawn come along, VENUS will also be rising in the East in Ta**us where she is the ruler!

We start the day with EARLY MORNING YOGA with ALEXANDRA LAZIC, on the BEACH, to SALUTE VENUS!
Alexandra Lazic was born in Belgrade, and has been living in Greece for the last 19 years. She dealt with journalism and photography until yoga came into her life in 2011 when she met the teacher of Areti Karantzikos. In 2014 she took part in teacher training with Manju Jois, from which she was taught to teach Ashtanga Yoga. In 2015 she met the second teacher of Elaine Vaughan, who has worked with Hata Yoga and Yoga Energy for Life. At the same time she is studying Zen Shiatsu Massage with Ane Grimseth. Since 2012 he has been studying and following as a way of life vegetarian and amorphous nutrition, as a means of detoxification of the organism, treatment and spiritual path.

Astrology Summer School 2017 will host THEMED TALKS each day!

Among the themes of DAY 3 TALKS on June 26th, our guest speaker NIKOLAOS A. PAPADAKIS focuses on “HISTORY OF CRETE THROUGHOUT CENTURIES AND HIGHLIGHTS OF MINOAN CIVILISATION”

Nikolaos Papadakis was born in Heraklion. He studied History and Archaeology at Rethimno (Faculty of Letters, Department of History Archaeology). He has two masters, the first in Ancient History (Faculty of Letters, Department of History Archaeology, Rethimno-Paris) and the second in Modern Greek Literature (Faculty of Letters, Department of Philology, Rethimno). After finishing his studies, from 2002 until this year (2017), he works as a private teacher of Ancient, Medieval and Modern History, Ancient Greek Language and Latin Language to High School students. He is also teaching History of Crete and Modern Greek as a Foreign Language at the Municipalities of Heraklion and Faistos. He speaks Greek, fluently English and French at the basic level. He participates in voluntary actions as a teacher at the non-profit educational program of the Municipality of Heraklion. He has also participated in many congresses and conferences about Greek Literature and History, especially about his homeland, Crete, and the famous Greek author Nikos Kazantzakis.

Bugün Milli Arkeoloji Müzesinde

The mysterious “Phaistos Disc” is one of the most famous undeciphered artifact in archaeology!

This enigmatic object, is dated about 1600 BCE, the time of the Minoan civilization, and was discovered in 1908 in the Minoan palace-site of Phaistos, Crete.

The disc is covered on both sides with a spiral of stamped symbols. Its purpose and meaning remain disputed, making it one of the most famous mysteries of archaeology. “Phaistos Disc” is now on display at the archaeological museum of Heraklion.
