Let us introduce you to the latest PAINLESS-developed tool: DRONESS!

DRONESS is an easy-to-use interface, which lets you design an off-grid UAV-based mobile network in an intuitive way. Some advanced settings are pre-defined and hidden by default but can still be easily accessed. The main window is divided into four tabs, each dedicated to a different set of input data.

DRONESS was designed by ESRs Marco Virgili, Nithin Babu, Mahshid Javidsharifi, and Iman Valiulahi.

🎓Université Paris-Saclay and PAINLESS are organizing a Spring School on "Emerging and Future Communication Networks: Technologies, Architectures and Tools".

The school will take place on April 5-8, 2022 at Université Paris-Saclay (Centrale Supelec) and online. 70 attendees will be able to attend the event in person, whilst the others will be able to join remotely. The streaming link will be provided upon registration.

We would like to congratulate our ESR Marco Virgili for being awarded 2nd place at the University of Manchester EEE Postgraduate Poster Conference, at the P&E division. His poster was entitled "Development of an automated tool for the design of energy-neutral systems" and it is related to his research in PAINLESS. Well done, Marco!
