Greece is enduring its worst heatwave in decades. Suspicions of organised arsonry are rising while the heatwave and the winds make the spreading of the fires unmanageable. More than 118 wildfires have been reported in the last 72 hours, destroying forest areas, villages and threatening the lives of humans and animals. Several volunteer organisations are gathering supplies for the affected areas.
