🤩 5 projects selected for EPICUR Seed Funding 2025!
Following our call we received over 30 project proposals, each involving at least 3 of our partner universities. In total, they brought together more than 270 researchers across the EPICUR alliance.
Congratulations for the 5 selected projects :
🔹Dignity at the End of Life: Thanatology, Ethics, and Spiritual Care in European Perspective, led by Niels Christian Hvidt, with Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and Université de Strasbourg.
🔹 Microfluidics Meets Biomimicry: Plant Cell Wall Artificial Analogues for Next-Generation Biobased Plastics and 3D Parts, led by -Pierre G. Laborie, with Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Universität für Bodenkultur Wien, Université de Haute-Alsace - UHA, and Université de Strasbourg.
🔹EPIC_LAB: Co-Creating Sustainable and Just Urban Futures, led by Michael Janoschka, with Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, and Universiteit van Amsterdam.
🔹Hybrid DNA-Reactive Agents based on Polyoxometalates: Electrochemical Insights, led by Marta Fik-Jaskółka, with Adam Mickiewicz University, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), and Université de Strasbourg.
🔹Soft Matter for Intelligent Life-like Engineering, led by Edoardo Milana, with Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Universität für Bodenkultur Wien, University of Amsterdam / Universiteit van Amsterdam - UHA, and Université de Strasbourg.
