Imam Abdul Kareem has been invited to the Police Headquarters in Banjul today at 12 p.m.

The invitation follows remarks he made against Magal Touba during a recent Friday sermon.

His team wrote: “As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Warahmatullāh Brothers and Sisters in Islām,

Our beloved brother and Imām, Abdul Kareem, has been invited to the Police Headquarters in Banjul today (Monday) at 12 noon for a mediation session, InShā’Allāh.

We kindly encourage all of you to attend and show your presence in a manner that reflects dignity, unity, and support for the cause of Islām.

Let us come together with patience, wisdom, and a spirit of brotherhood, seeking the pleasure of Allāh!“
