"Whoever conceals the (hidden) fault of his Muslim brother, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection.

Whoever exposes the [hidden] fault of his Muslim brother, Allah will expose his faults, until (so that) He shames him, due to it, even in his (own) house."

[Sunan Ibn Majah #2546]

"O you who believe with your tongue, while faith has not entered your heart, do not backbite the Muslims, and do not search for their faults.

For whoever searches the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will pursue his faults, and if Allah pursues his faults, He will expose him, even if he is in his own house."
