đź’ˇHappy New Week!
We were delighted to welcome Dave Jongeneelen, Founder of Buzz Women, to our institution. Buzz Women operates across India, The Gambia, and the Netherlands, helping women access the tools, knowledge, confidence, and support needed to unlock their own potential and become agents of change within their communities.
The visit included a tour of our facilities, insightful discussions on women's empowerment, and an exploration of future opportunities for collaboration. Given our CEO's role on the Executive Board of Buzz Women Gambia, the conversation was particularly significant as we continue working towards a future where more women have access to education, skills, leadership opportunities, and economic independence.
We are inspired by what can be achieved when like-minded organisations come together to create pathways for women to succeed.

🔸We are proud to share that Khadijah Krubally, our Tailoring and Garment Construction trainer, recently participated in the Seminar on Poverty Alleviation and Women's Vocational Education for African Countries at Guangxi International Business Vocational College, China.
Over the course of two weeks, she engaged in interactive classroom sessions, visited women's vocational education institutions, exchanged experiences with participants from across Africa and explored the rich traditions of Chinese culture.
Khadijah has learned a great deal from this unique experience and we can't wait to hear the valuable insights, innovative ideas, and best practices she will bring back to strengthen our training programs and empower even more women and young people in our communities.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Chinese Government and Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Welfare for providing this incredible opportunity for learning, collaboration and growth.

🥂Work hard, celebrate well.
This Workers’ Day, our incredible team had the chance to unwind and celebrate at Spice Hub, experiencing firsthand the creativity of Chef Sanka Bojang’s experimental, heritage-inspired cuisine.
Chef Sanka Bojang continues to be a driving force behind both innovation and mentorship within our institution. His dedication to nurturing talent is reflected not only in our students, but in the success stories we proudly celebrate like our two alumni now thriving within his team.
Moments like these remind us that when people feel valued, they flourish and that is the true spirit of Workers’ Day.
