Video Highlights of the Third Day of the Maiden SoSHSA Nationwide Tour

On the 22nd of August, we organized a seminar on the theme of the tour: “Voices of Unity and Climate Action: Promoting Human Rights, Combating Hate Speech, and Misinformation for National Development.” We also had a friendly football match in Albreda.

The seminar was a successful one, while the friendly match provided participants with an opportunity to connect with the people of the North Bank Region.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. After a tedious schedule that took us from tree planting to Kunta Kinteh Island, we hosted one of the most successful all-black party, bringing together participants and people from within the lodge to enjoy some fun and memorable moments.

The 21st Executive Council of the Social Sciences and Humanities Students’ Association (SoSHSA), through its Education and Research Ministry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Abdoulie M. Bojang as Chairperson and Fanta Susso as Vice Chairperson of the SoSHSA Tutorial Cycle 2026/27.

Abdoulie M. Bojang is a teacher by profession and has served as a tutor for Use of English, International Relations, and International Law. Fanta Susso, also a teacher by profession, has served as a tutor for Gambian Literature, Logic, and Critical Thinking. Their teaching experience reflects their strong commitment to supporting students academically and helping them achieve their educational goals.

With their combined teaching experience, leadership qualities, and commitment to service, both appointees are well prepared to contribute meaningfully to the success of the Tutorial Cycle. The Council wishes Abdoulie M. Bojang and Fanta Susso every success in their respective roles as they embark on this journey to positively impact lives through tutoring, teaching, and guidance.
