USET STUDENTS' WEEK 2026😍❤️
Day 2 ep 2-Panel Discussions
From the opening ceremony, the programme then transitioned into an engaging and insightful session on The Power of Student Leadership, facilitated by Mr. Assan Jarju, an alumnus of USET(GTTI) and a renowned Youth Leader. Drawing from his personal journey and experiences, he highlighted the essence of student leadership, the responsibilities it entails and the long-term benefits it offers. He emphasized how active involvement in student leadership builds critical skills, broadens opportunities and prepares individuals for success beyond campus life.
The session was lively and Insightful.
Building on the momentum, participants proceeded to a panel discussion on Innovation and Entrepreneurship as a Driver of National Development and Youth Empowerment led by Mr. Danso, also an alumnus of USET (GTTI) and the Programme Coordinator at the Startup Incubator. The session provided valuable insights into the role of innovation in shaping economies, identifying viable business ideas and developing sustainable ventures. Participants gained knowledge on entrepreneurship as a pathway to both personal growth and national progress.

USET STUDENTS WEEK 2026😍❤️
Day 2 ep 1
We officially opened the students' week ceremony with Welcome remarks from Mr Saine, Registrar USET who journeyed from Kombo to be with us and support this initiative.
His presence and words underscored the importance of commitment and service to student development.
This was followed by goodwill messages and remarks from esteemed lecturers at Mansa Konko, including Mr. Bah and Mr. Drammeh, who emphasized the value of education, discipline and active student participation.
An address was also delivered by the President of the USET Students Union reaffirming the Union’s commitment to empowering students and creating platforms for growth and leadership.

USET STUDENTS’ WEEK 2026-The Journey 😍❤️
Day 1 marked the official beginning of a week filled with impactful activities and unforgettable experiences. Bringing students across all the six USET campuses under one roof.
From what started as a long journey to a heartwarming welcome by the the host campus MansaKonko. The night’s activities featured a vibrant campfire session which served as the first major social gathering of the week. Surrounded by music, dance and shared laughter, participants engaged freely with one and another.

The semifinal clash concluded with Computer Science and Information Technology Department FC secured a narrow 1-0 victory over USET Ndemban FC, booking their place in the grand final of the Inter-Campus Sports Tournament.
CSIT’s journey to the final has been defined by resilience and composure, including a dramatic 6-5 penalty shootout victory in the previous round, while Ndemban showcased dominance with a strong 2-0 win to reach this stage.
Despite the defeat, Ndemban displayed great spirit throughout the tournament, earning a respectable third runner-up position.
Attention now turns to the final, where Julangel await the in-form CSIT side in what promises to be an exciting and emotional showdown.

On the pitch, USET Ndemban produced a dominant and disciplined performance to secure a 2 - 0 victory over USET Kanilai , scoring in both halves to comfortably seal the result.
As the journey toward the semi-finals continues, the level of competition keeps rising, setting the stage for even more exciting encounters ahead.

Football is a game where anything can happen, and victory is always earned on the pitch but the USET Julangel Skill Center students association stands tall, confident, and determined after a well-deserved win over the Mansakonko Skill Center Students Association in a post-match penalty shootout.
The team continues to show great passion, unity, and fighting spirit, reflecting the strong football culture within the USET community. Julangel remains focused and ready to push for a strong championship position as the journey continues.
Julangel president delivered a bold message to upcoming opponents, stating that Julangel is on a “journey of no return” and urging all future challengers to be fully prepared for a tough, intense, and highly competitive encounter..

What a dramatic Round Two clash in the Inter-Campus Sports Tournament! The College, coming off their first win, faced the heroes of today’s encounter the Computer Science and Information Technology Department ( CSITD ). held their nerve in a tense and decisive penalty shootout to secure a hard-fought and well-deserved victory over the College of Science and Engineering Students’ Association (CSESA), winning 6-5 on penalties. Big congratulations to the team for their fighting spirit and determination.
The race to the semi-finals is heating up, with pride, unity, and supremacy still on the line. The USET General Body is encouraged to stay tuned as the journey to crown the ultimate champions continues.
