A capacity building training today at spring of life nursery and lower basic school on the minimum standards.
It was a very good opportunity for the teachers of that school to be trained on so many significant areas of teaching and learning.

Earlier today the SINCHU BALIYA HOME Economics CLUB attended a training on soap at My Farm.. it was facilitated by Mr Cham. . We are indebted Doctor Cham arranging such training for us...
We were able to Know about different types of local soap that are available in market and
Familiarize with the ingredients needed to manufacture soap locally...The students
Learned how to make soap using some tools and a scale for measurement....

Sinchu Baliya Upper Basic yesterday (Friday 23rd, February, 2024) had a successful cultural show under the social and environmental studies club.
The theme of the third edition of the cultural show was "Africa is for the Africans. Therefore is our responsibility to build a Africa we all want without forgetting our cultural identity as people.
A big congratulations to Mr. Abdoulie Cham,head of SES department and team members for a well coordinated cultural display.

Sinchu Baliya Upper Basic School made history for the first time since 2012.

Hamiedata Jallow and Aminata M Jallow both scored Aggregate Six (6) in the GABEC Examination for Grade (9)

These two girls will be remembered for ever in the history of Sinchu UBS for achieving the unthinkable and setting new record for others to follow.

Last year, Ali Sowe another brilliant student scored Aggregate 7 in the same examination, making things more complicated for the Admin and the rest of the staff in search of that historic moment before the arrival of these two brilliant young girls to empower their hardwork.
