CHN School Alumni

It's yet another exciting moment as CHNs/VHS in CRR converged in nyanga bantang village as part of our routine activities to reach out to the communities we serve.

The main purpose of this convergence is to promote community participation and involvement in their own health and how best to achieve their health needs through SBCC to create awareness and impact positive change behaviours.

Issues in connection to our work were discussed in length and a review of the host books, Registers, documents and all forms was done to ensure that the service delivered is within context.

Among the activities carried out were
A. Health education on early antenatal booking by Angela Gomez B33
B. Community participation and self medication by lamin Touray B29
C. A football match with the youths of the community.
The activity was indeed a success and we pray to get more of this kind.

On Sarturday the 26 of July 2025, the VHS CHNs convergence team met at Palleleh Circuit. As usual the purpose of the convergence is for all the CHN/VHS to meet and discuss things pertaining to their activities. This time in Palleleh circuit, they invited some of the CHWs( VHWs, CBCs, VSGs, VDCs and other community members). Data collection tool at the VHS level were reviewed together.
