THE WALSA GAMBIA CHAPTER UNVEILS ITS NATIONAL EXECUTIVE
The Gambia WALSA Chapter, a non-partisan, service-focused, non-profit, and result-oriented association is pleased to unveil its national executive effective today, 2nd March 2023.
After a highly-contested application process, followed by a rigorous interview process, these individuals are found worthy by character, competence, experience, and intellect, to serve and uphold the core values of the West African Law Students' Association of the Gambian Chapter.
Over the past years, these individuals have demonstrated great leadership traits: honesty, selflessness, and dedication to service. They have been distinguished as men and women with impeccable character, unstained integrity with unquestionable competence.
Additionally, the national executive is composed of renowned student leaders that are capable, willing, and committed to salvage and engineer smart solutions to the problems affecting law students in the three sister schools notably the University of The Gambia, International Open University, and University of Science & Technology (formerly GTTI).
Without any modicum of doubt, the appointed executive members have acquired a good understanding of legal issues; the right legal aptitude, and the acumen to steer the WALSA- Gam-chapter affairs to register success.
West African Law Students' Association- Gambia Chapter which serves as the umbrella body that unifies and coordinates the activities of lawstudents in the Gambia and other West African states are committed to working with relevant stakeholders with the sole aim of attaining the chapter's objectives and mandate.
Fellow students, with this team, under the leadership of a young and iconic youth leader, in the person of Mr. Sheriffo Jorbateh, we are confidently hopeful that your welfare, affairs, and interests will be fully fostered, promoted, and protected. Therefore, we beseech your support, trust, and confidence in the team to enable it to successfully implement its policies to the latter.
On that note, we wish to congratulate the executive members on their appointment and wish them all the best in fairly executing their responsibility.
