PEACE NETWORK EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPRESENTS TO NATIONWIDE TRAINING

Mr. Musa K Ceesay, The Executive Director of Peace Network is currently representing us on nationwide joined implementation of EU-UNDP funded project on “Insider Mediation , conflict prevention and peacebuilding in The Gambia”.

On this final phase of the project, training is focused more on equipping and strengthening Insider Mediators and “Kanyelengs” on mediation and negotiation techniques, referral pathways, mental health support etc.

Peace Network and its partners through the support of UNDP and guidance of Ministry of Interior of The Gambia have contributed immensely to the IMs success stories of mediating numerous conflicts in various regions and communities across the country.

Today, we proudly celebrate the Admin and Finance Officer of Peace Network Isatou Jobe, as she takes the lead as Chair of the Interview Panel for new staff and interns.

This is more than a professional milestone, it is a powerful reminder of what happens when women are empowered, supported, and given the space to lead.

Women in administration and finance often work behind the scenes, ensuring structure, accountability, and sustainability. But when institutions intentionally create opportunities for women to rise into decision-making roles, they don’t just manage systems, they shape the future of the organization.

Peace Network CEO receives Recognition from Doha

The Peace Network is pleased to share that our CEO, Alasana Justice Jallow participated as a delegate at the Doha Forum: Youth Edition 2025, organized by the QatarDebate Center, and received a Certificate of Participation presented by Dr. Hayat Maarafi, Executive Director of the Center.

The QatarDebate Center commended his engagement and expressed appreciation for his contribution, wishing him continued success in his future endeavors.

This engagement reflects Peace Network’s commitment to youth leadership, dialogue, and peacebuilding at both regional and global levels.

MEET OUR NEW STAFF: ADMIN AND FINANCE OFFICER

Peace Network appoints Isatou Jobe as The Admin and Finance Officer. Ms. Jobe holds
master’s degree in Financial Management and Accounting from National School of Business and Management at University Hassan 1st _Settat, . She also holds diploma in French at the faculty of Sciences and Education, Rabat.

Isatou is a young, motivated and results-driven finance professional. She is skilful financial analyst and accounting with a strong foundation in auditing, budgeting, and strategic planning.

She also has extensive experience in ERP systems, contributing to efficiency, compliance, and data-driven decision-making.

Ms. Jobe briefly worked as an intern at Medical Research Council Unit( MRC),The Gambia as Financial Accounting & Analysis, Procurement/Logistics Intern from March to June 2025.

While studying in Morocco, Ms. Jobe served as an intern at TRESORERIE GENERALE DU ROYAUME, MOROCCO as Public Finance & Tax Administration Intern from May to June2023.

Before moving to above mentioned institute, she worked at FIDUCIARE ARSALAN CHAOUIA(ACCOUNTING FIRM), MOROCCO as Accounting & Audit Intern in August 2022

In conclusion, whilst studying in Morroco, Isatou served as volunteer under numerous organisations, including but not limited to Gambian Students' Association in Morocco(GASAM), CESAM-SETTAT, Morocco, AIESEC (Global Youth-led Organization).

Peace Network Honors Honorable Musa Bah

On Thursday, 18th December 2025 ,Peace Network honors Honourable Musa Bah, The Gambia’s Consular in for his dedication in guiding and motivating Peace Network team.

Honourable Bah who is a Board Member continues to guide and support the Peace Network.

Mr. Musa K Ceesay, Executive Director Peace Network presented the token of appreciation to Honourable Bah, and thanked him on behalf of the team for his unwavering support and commitment throughout.

Honourable Bah received the honor with excitement and gratitude. He thanked and appreciated the entire team from CEO Alasana Justice Jallow, Deputy CEO Professor Momodou Mustapha Fanneh and the rest of the team, respectively.

The presentation was held at Honourable Bah’s residence at Wellingara.

GUINEA BISSAU AMBASSADOR TO THE GAMBIA VISITS PEACE NETWORK

On Tuesday, 25th November, 2025, The Ambassador of Republic of Guinea Bissau to The Gambia H.E Luis De Baros Camara paid a courtesy visit to Peace Network at its office at Kanifing. The delegation was received by our CEO Alasana Justice Jallow.

The meeting with the ambassador was centered around possible areas of partnership and collaboration between Peace Network and Bissua-Guinean embassy to The Gambia. These includes; training for Guinea-Bissau youths on leadership and peacebuilding and Capacity building for civil servants on leadership and management.

The Ambassador was accompanied by senior officials from the Embassy.
