Good day dear colleagues,
On behalf of the school administration, I’m pleased to inform you that our Annual Speech and Prize Giving Ceremony for the Nursery and Lower Basic School will take place on Saturday, 26th July 2026.
We warmly invite all staff members—present, retired, contract teachers , transferred and teachers on studies to join us in gracing this special occasion. Your presence will mean a lot to the pupils, parents, and the entire school community.
We sincerely apologise for the late notification. The final decision on the date took a bit longer due to the unfortunate accident involving Abdourahman, one of our Grade six (6)pupils. Thankfully, he is now recovering.
We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.

We are excited to share that our recent school excursion was a memorable and enriching experience for all our students and staff! 🌍🚍

From the moment we set off, the trip was filled with fun, laughter, and learning. Our students had the chance to explore new places, engage with real-world learning, and bond with their classmates in a joyful environment. 📸🍃📚

We visited Airport, kachically crocodile pool, OIC Conference Hall , monkey park and kartong folongko where students discovered nature, history, science, culture. The experience truly brought our classroom lessons to life!
A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers, staff, and supportive parents who made this trip possible. 👏❤️

It was another another inspiring day for the students of Abuko Lower Basic School in collaboration with climate change activists to engage in presentation on the need to be change agents in climate change activities in order to combat the climate change.This activities include tree planting exercise,that took place today.

I am so proud of our school’s feeding program! 🍽️ It plays a crucial role in not only nourishing our students but also in keeping them engaged and motivated to attend school. By providing healthy meals, we are ensuring that our pupils have the energy and focus they need to learn and thrive.
This initiative is vital for retaining students, as it addresses one of the key barriers to education—hunger. When our children are well-fed, they are more likely to stay in school, participate actively in class, and achieve their academic goals.
Let’s continue to support this amazing program and work together to create a brighter future for all our students! 💪📚
