The Secret of Transmutation.
1. Preamble
About the Incompleteness of Mathematical Axioms ...
Anything is the same and simultaneously different from itself.
Axiom I of Transmutalism
(Axioms are propositions that are assumed to be true without being proved or demonstrated.
Fundamental axioms are accepted as truths and serve as a starting point for deduction from other truths.
One of the accepted axioms is the Identity Principle, according to which a thing is equal to itself. This axiom is regarded as incomplete by Transmutalist Theory and as such unable to generate a conceptual mathematical building capable of representing and managing Reality.)
An entity is the dense core of a cloud of possibilities that encompasses all alternative entities - that is - everything that the entity is not.

As they made their way to the Institute of Quantum Studies, where they expected to meet Aleator, Iris gazed at Atlan beside him and remembered the strange circumstances in which she had met him.
Out in Montserrat, Philippines, during the violent eruption of that fierce volcano…
As he later learned to be almost habitual in Atlan, he had ventured far beyond insurance. And it was here that she had first seen him on the bank of the river of boiling lava that had begun to surround him…
"He must not have realized that I was watching him from the other side ... as secretly as fascinated!", Iris thought.
………………………………………………………….
And almost without realizing it, there was Atlan
in that terrible situation: crouching on the bank,
face the river of boiling mud.
It was very hot and the lava was beginning to surround him.
He urgently needed to cross to the other bank.
He had two arms and two legs - nothing useful in that situation!
He would need to fly over the lava,
to get there.
The heat was unbearable.
Burning magma set fire to nearby herbs.
He jumped onto the small rock.
Just in time, because now the lava surrounded him.
It threatened to swallow everything.
And he was there, trapped in that body.
In his body.
Unable to reach the other shore.
Her skin burned.
He nestled in the small rock.
The lava was rising.
The warm air burned his nostrils and lungs.
If he could break free from there ...
he would leave everything, even his own body!
It was the end.
Because the magma was already shaving his feet.
And he was there, in his last stronghold.
If he could undo the limits of his body ...
.. and fly from there!
He snuggled deeper, desperate.
He would be swallowed ...
.. would be swallowed ...
"So let it be!...",
he thought, already suddenly indifferent*.
And that's when it all happened!
I can not explain:
something in him tore boundaries,
burst with the rigidity of his shape.
He became nothing,
or all.
And what I saw was him dilute,
become a blotter spot
and fly over the burning lava.
(If you could call that "fly"!...)
Iris, Montserrat, Philippines
"When we stop the flow of our own description of ourselves, we break free from the enchantment of the ego that wants to make us believe that it represents the only reality. At that moment we can recognize our true nature of free and fluid energy fields. From then on we can take on the task of reinventing ourselves in an intentional and voluntary way, capable of responding in new ways to new situations arising at any moment. "
V. Sanchez

Was it a hallucination? Iris thought, still unsure of what she had just observed. "Did I really see that?!?" But she could not keep himself from advancing toward the mound of bushes behind which the being who had supposedly diluted and flitted over the stream of boiling lava had fallen. She had to make sure about what she saws.
Suddenly she thought, "Is it dangerous?" And continued his approach, but more cautiously so as not to disturb whatever was there. Seeing without being seen, yes, that would be the most prudent. She was increasingly afraid of what this could mean. But curiosity was stronger…
And then she saw him. Through the foliage she realized that it was the same young man who had been moments ago trapped on the other side of the river of fire from the eruption of the volcano. He had not yet noticed her, and she was scanning him from top to bottom for any unusual traits that might justify the unusual phenomenon she had witnessed. He was a tall boy with long blond hair and dressed in a way that held an unusual touch ... as if he had something of a medieval knight... He was raised and in profile to Iris, as if trying to compose himself from something. "Perhaps from the experience he had been through", Iris thought.
That was when he suddenly turned his head toward her and through the foliage his eyes met.
Those vibrant eyes stared at him with almost fierce intensity, Atlan thought as he realized what at first seemed to him to be two embers glittering through the foliage. It was the feeling of being watched and analyzed that had turned him in that direction. And here was someone behind that thicket that wouldn't take his eyes off him. It should be a woman because he glimpsed, through the trees, what appeared to be a long fiery red hair.
They stood motionless, watching each other, measuring themselves, somewhat afraid, somewhat suspicious, during what seemed to become an eternity.
What would they be feeling? They didn't know each other yet… but it seemed like one of those even more magical moments than the “magic” they had just passed and witnessed. They might not be able to define it yet, but it was as if they felt that something within them was twitching and at the same time touching at last after a long wait.

Reflection 1:
Transmutation ... is it possible?
“Quantum energy waves translate into complex structures when you take into account the famous Einstein equation E = mc2. This formula shows that energy and mass are equivalent, or that energy can create matter. Material particles that are created from quantum energy fluctuations without any external introduction of energy. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle operates as an energy bank. Energy can be borrowed for a short duration, provided it is promptly repaid. ”
“By borrowing energy, a photon can temporarily become an electron-positron pair, or a proton-antiproton pair. Experiments were made to catch them in the act. Once again, a 'pure' photon could never be distilled from this complex network of transmutations. ”
Paul Davies
“Anyone who is not shocked by Quantum Theory is because they did not understand it.”
Niels Bohr

As Iris stepped out of the foliage and they faced each other she felt that he was as stunned as she was by all that. It seemed to him that he was not sure whether or not she had observed him. There was no time to talk anyway. He offered to drive her to a safe haven without delay, and she accepted. It was urgent to leave the island.
Only much later, at Iris's insistence, did Atlan tell her about whatever might have happened to himself there during the volcano's violent eruption.
He reached into his small backpack and pulled out a thick book.
"- This is an edition of the Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead. Perhaps the oldest book of mankind”, he explained. "Possibly written about 7,000 years ago! ... but a more accurate translation of its title would be "Book of the Daylight." As for me, I prefer to call it the "Book of Transmorphoses"..."
"- Transmorphoses?", interrupted Iris.
"- Yes, that's what I mean by temporary mutations in the form of a being. This book leads us to believe that this was a topic of major importance to the ancient Egyptians. Notice, for example, in this chapter ..."
He opened the book on a selected page and I read:

Chapter L # #
To be turned into a bird
I am a bird, a bird…
I am also the goddess Scorpio, daughter of Ra…
Oh Gods, how sweet and kind is your perfume that burns and rises to the horizon!
You who inhabit the Celestial City!
Extend your protective hands to me so that I may safely reside in the Lake of Fire!
I pronounce the words of Power, I say, “Look, I am Horus, I take hold of the Sky Barge and put Osiris, my Father, back on his throne.

Later, Atlan explained to Iris that one of the levers that had allowed him to escape the distressing situation in which he had found himself surrounded by the boiling lava was an unusual state of indifference that had taken hold of him when he had exhausted all other possibilities of escape. ..
But Iris wanted to know more, much more. Suddenly she was stricken with an uncontrollable curiosity to know Atlan and all that had brought him there, to that strange feat. She wanted to know their deep motivations and goals because she began to sense that they somehow related to her own.
Atlan then confided to her that the "transmutation" represented the dream and the work of a lifetime, his lifetime ...
Iris asked him to clarify further what he meant by this "transmutation."
"- From my earliest childhood I have felt in us a great hidden truth," he replied, "a truth that can transform everything. Able to completely transform our relationship with our surroundings and ... even transform ourselves!"
- Able to transform ourselves?
"- Yes, capable of turning us mere humans into godlike beings!", he said as he held out his arms ... wide open!
And Iris stood there, amazed at such a strange revelation, looking at this young man and thinking that he had dedicated his whole life to pursuing a dream as unheard of as seemingly impossible: to transmute himself!
As she looked into his deep gaze, she seemed to be living a kind of waking dream. She herself had been investigating the subject of transmutation for several years, though from a more impersonal, more theoretical perspective, more related to the physical transmutation of the elements ... and yet she often wondered if she was pursuing a chimera and wasting her time on an impossible search. But for the first time in her life, she had just met someone who seemed to believe it even more than she did.
She wanted to know what he had already discovered, how far he had come, what his steps had been.
Atlan then began to tell him that his long investigation had begun long ago, still in his childhood, with something he liked to call “the theory of the puzzle” ...
