INDIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER TO GHANA PAYS A WORKING VISIT TO DHLTU

The Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, His Excellency Sugandh Rajaram, on September 15, 2021, paid a working visit to Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University, Wa.

He had fruitful discussions with Management of the University.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Elias Nortaa Kunedeb Sowley, expressed profound gratitude to the High Commissioner for the visit. He informed the High Commissioner that the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University provides tertiary education in the fields of Engineering, Manufacturing, Science and Technology, Applied Arts, and Commerce. He added that the University provides opportunities for skills development, applied research and publication of research findings.

The Vice Chancellor said there was the need for collaboration between the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University and counterpart universities in India.

On his part, the Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, His Excellency Sugandh Rajaram, expressed his delight for the warm reception. He said Indian universities provide high quality education at a very low cost. He encouraged Management to endeavour to collaborate with counterpart universities in India, in the areas of joint research, faculty exchange inter alia.

The High Commissioner later inspected equipment at the Mechanical Engineering Workshop and the Amatrol Laboratory of the University.
