HND Purchasing and supply, Wa Technical University

We're thrilled to have hosted the kick-off meeting of our EU Erasmus+ project, "Waste Reduction and Management through Circular Economy in Western Africa" (Feb 4-6, 2025) in Wa, Upper West Region, Ghana.

Led by Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University, our diverse consortium brought together 4 European partners (Italy, Romania, Portugal) and 6 African partners (Ghana, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso).

Over the past week, we've had engaging discussions on implementing our project, developing innovative MSc and TVET courses on waste management, and promoting sustainable practices.

This 3-year project aims to create jobs for youth and women in West Africa while fostering a circular economy.

We're grateful for EU Erasmus+ support and excited to collaborate towards a sustainable future for Western Africa!
