Our students took learning beyond the classroom.

On the International Day of Innovation and Creativity, Datus International College visited Community 8 No.1 JHS to lead a peer session on Social-Emotional Learning and the SDGs.

At Datus, we don't just teach students about the world — we prepare them to lead in it.

The environment your child learns in shapes who they become.

Ms. Nazia Mir, Head of the IB Primary Years Programme at Datus International School, shares what makes this a space where students truly thrive.

We are proud to welcome two exceptional leaders to our Primary School team.

Ms. Nazia Mir joins us as Head of the IB PYP, bringing a wealth of international experience and a deep commitment to learner-centred education. Ms. Gillian Georgia Odamtten steps in as Administrator of our International Studies Department, bringing the professional expertise needed to strengthen coordination and drive excellence across the department.

This transition reflects our continuous commitment to placing the right people in the right roles, so that every child at Datus receives the quality of education they deserve.

We warmly welcome them both into the Datus family.

Our IB PYP Year 6 exhibition class visited Association International School this week — not as tourists, but as learners with purpose.

They observed. They asked questions. They came back sharper.

That is what an IB education does. It trains students to learn from every environment, not just their own classroom.

We are proud of our students and grateful for the growing collaboration between our institutions.

Datus International School at the IB African Education Festival 2026.

Last week, our IB PYP Coordinator, Ms. Roberta Naa Adjeley Laryea, and Ms. Barbara Korang Meledi travelled to Johannesburg, South Africa to represent Datus at the IB African Education Festival 2026, held under the theme: Building Ubuntu through Education in Africa.

Alongside educators from across the continent, our team engaged in sessions on inclusive education, collaborative learning, and the future of IB schooling in Africa.

We are also proud to announce that Datus International School is now an official member of the West Africa Association of IB World Schools (WAAIBWS).

This is what commitment to international standards looks like.

At Datus, the classroom is where confidence is built.

Watching our students take the floor and articulate their ideas tells you everything about the environment we create.

We are proud of you, LTC Kafui Avotri!

From Datus Dansoman, Class of 1985, to Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army. The discipline, the structure, the foundation. It stayed with you.

It always does.

Easter is more than a holiday. It's a reminder to slow down, gather the people you love, and be present.

To every parent, student, and family that is part of the Datus community, we see the effort you put in every single day. This season, we hope you get to rest, celebrate, and recharge.

Happy Easter from Datus International School.
