Preempt the time spent on television and phones and on routines; have them spend time instead on claiming their imagination, creativity and critical reasoning.
True, we cannot plant imagination into our children, we can however provide an environment where their creativity is not just another mess to clean up but welcome evidence of grappling successfully with boredom.
That's what we do at jns talent center.
