I had the honor of receiving Nana Baffoe Korkor III, Chief of Bomini, who paid a courtesy visit to express his gratitude to H.E. John Dramani Mahama, H.E. Lordina Mahama, and the Government of Ghana for the ongoing construction of the Bomini Road.

This important project reflects the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure, enhancing connectivity, and promoting socio-economic development in our communities. The people of Bomini are appreciative of this intervention and look forward to the successful completion of the road.

Yesterday, together with the Municipal Chief Executive for Techiman and the Bono East Regional Lands Commission, a courtesy visit was paid to the Techiman Traditional Council to express profound gratitude to Nananom for their generous donation of 310 acres of land to the State for the development of the Bono East Regional Ministerial enclave.

On behalf of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, heartfelt appreciation was conveyed to Nananom for this remarkable gesture, which demonstrates their unwavering commitment to the development of Bono East and the welfare of its people.

This generous contribution will provide a permanent site for key government infrastructure and strengthen efforts to improve public service delivery across the region.

The support and partnership of the Techiman Traditional Council are deeply appreciated as we continue working together to advance the development of Bono East.

Yesterday, I inspected the ongoing construction of the 24-Hour Economy Market at the Techiman Market Centre as part of a site meeting to assess the progress of work and ensure that the project remains on schedule.

I was encouraged by the steady progress being made and engaged with the project team and stakeholders on measures to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and timely delivery. This important project will enhance commercial activities, create jobs, and contribute significantly to the realization of the Government’s 24-Hour Economy agenda.

I would also like to commend His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for his visionary leadership and commitment to policies that promote economic transformation, infrastructure development, and job creation. The 24-Hour Economy initiative reflects a bold vision for national development and shared prosperity.

Together, we remain committed to delivering a modern market facility that will benefit the people of Techiman and the Bono East Region as a whole.

I was pleased to receive SNCO P.A. Demuyakor, Bono East Regional Commander of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), on a courtesy call today.

We had fruitful discussions on strengthening collaboration in the fight against drug abuse and illicit trafficking to ensure a safer and healthier Bono East Region.I appreciate the visit and look forward to continued partnership in serving our people.

The visit provided an opportunity for us to engage in fruitful discussions on matters of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on the development of the Ofuman Traditional Area and the well-being of its people. I commend Nana’s exemplary leadership, invaluable counsel, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of Ofuman.
